Although the colonoscopy went well, your front office leaves a lot to be desired. On check-in I was told I needed to pay 1500.00 up front. My insurance assured me this was a preventative exam and was no cost to me. When I asked the receptionist to check on why I had to pay this amount, she called billing and said the amount was correct. When I questioned the amount again (nicely), she said I had to pay the amount, set up a payment plan, or go home.After already completing the prep,I had no choice but to pay. She said I could call billing myself and let them explain it to me. Upon returning home, I called billing and was put on hold for 15 min.finally leaving a message to call me. No return call. Called tues. the7th, placed on hold again, message said if I didnt want to wait, I could press 1 and leave a message. Pressing 1 did nothing but return me to music on hold. Attempts on the 8th ,same results. At this point, I called my insurance company,two different persons got the same results. I still have not received my biopsy results. I called the office,once again put on hold,left a message to call me on Mon. the 13th around1:30pm.It shouldnt be this hard to talk to a real person.

Not only did I never receive instructions for my prep I had to call at least 10 times to even get someone on the phone. One of the nurses that tried to start an iv on me was so rude in so many ways I was in shock at such behavior. Being in health care myself for 12 years I have never encountered such a thing and think this should be addressed. Its one thing to be having a bad day and be moody around your colleagues, but quite another to be rude to your patients who are there getting an exam that is not an enjoyable one. Her judgement, attitude, actions and the things she said to me were disrespectful on multiple levels. I will never recommend this place to someone or go there again due to this. It is never okay to treat a patient with disrespect no matter what is going on in your personal life. If you cant treat your patients with kindness and respect get out of the medical field. We dont need that.

I am highly upset with l the Weat Ridge and the Thornton Center. They treated one of my family members and it was very unprofessional, especially a RN named Hightower. She looked in to the family members eye and told them to deal with the pain and that there is nothing can be done (1st time meeting them). She has gallbladder issues and pancreatitis. She did not give her any information on what to do or how to make things better and also they never called her back after calling twice. This is very unprofessional and I am disgusted by the actions that my family member had to deal with. And I have found another center and I wouldnt recommend this place unless you like poor bedside manor.

Called number to leave a voicemail to ask if I would be eldgible for an appointment and got a real live person answering service, was thrilled at first to be able to get an answer, but instead the answering service was extremely rude and when I said I would just like to leave a message, got hung up on. Whats the point of having an answering service if they are just going to hang up on you? In that case a voicemail would be much more sufficient. I will call somewhere to schedule my appointment where I am able to leave a message and schedule my appointment there. Thanks for nothing!

I read the reviews online right before my procedure and I was very concerned. Fortunately NONE of them rang true for my experience. Ive had to have a number of GI Exams over the years and this was by far my best experience. The staff was terrific! VERY professional from front desk to check out & recovery. I feel the medical procedure was done quickly, efficiently and I had to SELF PAY... So... if you read the other not so great reviews and youre worried - dont be. I will go back to this exact location when I have to have the exam done again in 24 months.

Extremely poor office managing. They never answer their phones and you never talk to a live person. And then when you do talk to somebody you never get call my by the drs. You really have to watch your medical records with this company . They lost several of mine and other peoples records showed up in my charts . They never wanted to accept responsibility for their own mistakes . Im going to file a complaint with the AMA. They have no business having a license .The place is a joke.

Do not let your doctor send you to this facility. You have a choice and it should be to use anyone else. If you do go and they tell you that you have a co-pay check with your insurance first. Calling is a waste of time unless you like being on hold. Places have a customer service "culture" unique to them but are almost always reflective of the people in charge. Poor customer service at a medical facility scares me off.

I really like my PA/Dr. but the front desk is horrible!!! They NEVER answer the phone and rarely call back. How are we supposed to be seen if no one will call back or answer. Do yourself a favor and find a new clinic. This has been an issue for over a year and nothing is done about it. This is the WORST service for people that need to see a dr.

The Doctors were fine but the billing office is completely worthless. I called prior to my procedure and was assured that everything would be covered by insurance. Then the bills came and they completely washed their hands. Being lied to by your doctors office is not a good sign. I will find another company going forward.

Why have a phone number when no one ever answers the calls? My physician has faxed over my referral three times and its been two weeks and no call back what so ever. When I call myself no one answers!!!! frustrating, will be going somewhere else!

I would recommend another Gastroenterology. They used to be good. They made do a test kit that was not necessary and wasted lots of time. Dont waste your time go somewhere else. There here to take your money and they care about there patients.

I dont know how this place is still even open! Everyone is extremely rude, they are completely disorganized, and never answer their phones or return calls. They need to shut this place down, they are giving RMG a horrible reputation.

Front desk employees are moody. I try to be nice because I need a prescription filled and they still snap you. Once you get in procedure room, the atmosphere gets better.
