My vision is extremely low. I have been wearing glasses since the third grade and contacts for about 25 years. I have visited Dr. Buchanan twice now and have also sent my husband who has decent eye sight to visit him. Dr. Buchanan has been the most knowledgeable optometrist - in terms of diagnostic care as well as insurance - that I have ever been to. His knowledge has helped me save money while receiving the best in vision care including one of the best pairs of glasses Ive ever had and state of the art equipment to make my patient care much more comfortable. He has great office hours that are perfect for busy people. Recently, I was on vacation and had what I consider a contact lens emergency. One phone call to Dr. Buchanan and my problem was solved. As a family who continues to use his services, Id highly recommend him.

Dr. Buchanan has assisted me for several years in achieving the best corrected vision possible, correcting for a misshapen cornea that eventually had to be replaced. That surgery was completed one year ago and the new cornea shape is finally stable. Dr. Buchanan coordinated prescriptions for both eyes so that they consistently work together, resulting in the best vision Ive experienced in more than ten years. I very much appreciate his patience and expertise - and his staffs assistance in choosing affordable frames that accommodate my need for both distance and office work.

Dr. Buchanan is, by far, the best eye doctor Ive been to. Ive worn glasses/contacts for 13+ years and have been to my share of optometrists. Within only a few minutes of my first appointment I felt at ease and comfortable at his office and with his staff. I appreciate the sincerity and honesty Dr. Buchanan shows when discussing my particular needs as a patient. I certainly dont, and have never felt, like a "number" to him or his staff. Ill be a patient of his for many years to come and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Great office. Clean, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. My wife, kids, and I have all been going here for a few years now and we really appreciate the quality of service, nice location, and friendly staff. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality, client-focused office. With many offices now squeezing into department stores and focusing more on getting you in and out, it was nice to find an office which still focuses on the clients experience and the quality of care provided.

My family has been visiting Dr.Buchanan at Ridgeview Optometry for over two years and always have an outstanding experience. Dr. Buchanan explains everything and is very knowledgeable. The atmosphere in the office is calm and Dr. Buchanan is very personable. I never feel rushed during my eye exam, and always have all my questions and concerns answered. Have been going here for three years. Dr. Matt is so kind and always willing to adjust my script when its not working for me. The staff is friendly as well and have been very helpful with information on lens/glasses I want to try and very knowledgable on my insurance plan (which isnt always crystal clear to me) They have Saturday appointments and while limited, always find one for me so I do not miss work. Thank you for always taking care of me!

Made the appointment online. It was confirmed by text and email. Very convenient and good experience, unlike other places that say they do appointments online but then they dont respond or the appointment time gets messed up. Pleasant office. Eye tests and exams were convenient and thorough. Emphasis was on eye health, not selling glasses. Excellent selection of frames. Much better experience than LensCrafters or Abba Eyecare.

Dr. Buchanan has a great sense of humor and makes you feel at home. He explains everything thoroughly and takes the time to answer all your questions. His staff are friendly and helpful. The woman who taught me how to use contact lenses was very patient, answered all my questions, and gave info on things I wouldnt have thought to ask. I highly recommend Dr. Buchanan.
