Love Doctor Shannon!!! A friend recommended her when I first moved here, and I couldnt be happier. The office staff is very kind and considerate. That said, I think there are some process problems in the way some requests etc. flow. I dont think the office staff is rude or uncaring, they honestly have some things that fall through the cracks at times. I do know that they are very busy, but theyve always taken the time to make sure my requests were taken care of and Ive seldom had to remind them of a request. I will say this, Id far, far, far rather have Dr. Shannon, her PA, and the overall office staff taking care of me as opposed to going to another office. Theyre worth the occasional "lost call".

Dr. Shannon misdiagnosed my cellulitis as a virus. After calling her twice to advise her of my worsening condition, I ended up in emergency care. In addition to seeming annoyed that I called her, she advised me that I need not go to the ER because they would only give me fluids. The other two doctors who saw me stated that my condition was severe and had it been left untreated much longer I would most likely have ended up an amputee or with sepsis. I spend two months on antibiotics. I will never go back to this doctor.

Dr. Shannon seems to be quite thorough however the office management leaves a lot to be desired. The office staff seems very nice and caring but somehow their procedure lacks efficiency. Many referrals have fallen through the cracks due to forgotten approval, incorrect coding and lack of call-backs. Mistakes of this nature, in a medical office, are not acceptable and can lead to liability issues and even death. I would suggest a thorough evaluation of office procedure and management.

The office staff is horible, they do not return calls in a timely manor or follow through with anything. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Shannon and Staff are wonderful. Been my doctor for several years would not go anywhere else.
