DO NOT TRUST THESE FAKE REVIEWS!!! WARNING THIS IS AN AWFUL PLACE THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THIER PATIENTS. THEY WILL LIE TO GET YOU IN THE DOOR AND THEN TREAT YOU WITH NO RESPECT. I just returned from Lone Tree Modern Dental and my experience was horrible beyond words. They completely failed at their jobs at every opportunity. I first went in for an examination on Friday 9/30, the warning signs were clear from the beginning. The fruit flies in the waiting room definitely gave me a bad vibe and it didnt get much better from there. The woman struggled to work the X-ray machine and Im fairly certain it was her first day on the job which was not very reassuring since I had already told them about my anxiety and nervousness due to my past experienceS. After waiting around forever the dentist finally came in and looked in my mouth for a quick second and she started telling me that I needed a root canal. After a quick discussion with her I explained that I was not interested in the root canal, I just wanted the tooth extracted along with my wisdom teeth that caused the problem in the first place. She agreed that the tooth was probably too far gone and that I would just be wasting my money on a root canal and that my idea was best and we scheduled to do the extraction on that tooth as well as my wisdom teeth for the next day Saturday 10/01. Although I was happy they could get me in the next day, it just continued to get much worse after this point. Keep in mind I was very open with them about my anxiety surrounding the dentist and the pain was adding to my anxiety issues but I was ultimately determined to get the tooth removed. Trying to get the appointment set was an issue because the woman in the office wanted to change the time for the appointment from 9:30 to 10:00 and then claimed I was not insured. After sorting that issue out and getting a time fixed for the next day I waited all evening for the instructions they promised to send but never did. The next morning they called to change the time again back to 9:30, then once I arrived everyone was very cold and unfriendly. After paying my bill they take me to the back, with very poor bedside manner they proceed to put in the IV for sedation. I informed them I was really bad with needles and that I am prone to passing out whenever I get my blood drawn or anything similar. As predicted I fainted, once I became conscience there were several staff members standing over me and started asking me what my problem was! The tone they used was completely rude and unprofessional and they continued berating me with questions like "what was my issue" "why are you here if you dont want to be" I could not believe these questions, like does anyone want to be at the dentist?! One woman said we dont have to do this today we can do it another time, I said I just want my f***ing tooth out! Thats when the oral surgeon, who never came to speak with me prior or never even introduced himself, just shut everything down and said we are done, we are not doing this today. I was so confused and still waking up from blacking out. This rude nurse who was in my face telling me we dont have to do it then she started drilling me about why I wasnt medicated before coming in. She starts asking me why I didnt have Valium and who was my dentist. How am I supposed to know they could have given me Valium and why they didnt! So needless to say I wont be back, no bedside manner what so ever and they waisted so much of my time.

Horrible, Deceiving Liars!! I had to find a new dentist due to change in insurance. I selected Lone Tree Modern Dental because it was close to my house and seemed to have pretty good reviews online. I was given an appointment time for 1:45. I arrived on time to an empty office. I had to walk to the back to find someone and was told "we are at lunch"! I said well this was the time I was given Im not sure what you want me to do. The young lady/receptionist was then very nice and apologized many times. I was taken back soon after and Dr. Hallinan asked how long it had been since I had seen a dentist, I told her 2 years. She started with pario charting (the gum numbers) first and I was told I had a lot of fives, sixes and some fours and that I needed a deep cleaning right away. I asked if I could just get a normal cleaning and come back for the deep as I wasnt prepared time wise for the deep cleaning. She told me they couldnt do a regular cleaning, only a deep cleaning. The office manager came back after talking to my insurance and seemed very pushy and insistent that I start the deep cleaning that day. I told her I needed to reschedule and she said that was fine but had some underlying attitude about it. When I left I was still the only patient in the office, which I thought was odd as Id been there for over an hour, and as I walked by the front desk Dr. Hallinan and the office manager were whispering to each other... hmmm, I wonder who they were talking about, as again, I was the only patient there. I just had a bad feeling about the whole experience and felt that they were pushy and very unprofessional. I was even warned by my previous dentist that telling new patients they need a deep cleaning when they dont is very common as the office makes a lot of money from them. I have since found another dentist who is absolutely wonderful and I went for my first visit and was expecting them to tell me I needed a deep cleaning and much to my surprise (not really) all my pario charting numbers were ones, twos and threes with a few fours! Wow, what a difference an ethical, caring dentist can make! My recommendation to any new patient is to get a second opinion before letting them proceed with any extensive/expensive work.

Run for the hills!!!! Dont even consider this place for your dental treatment. I sent my son for his free annual cleaning and was assured of their acceptance of insurance before and on arrival. Lone Tree office called us to inform us that the cleaning visit cost is $59 although my insurance offers the annual cleaning for free. I asked to talk to the office manager. The manager female who talked to me said they dont accept my insurance. I explained to the manager that they accepted the insurance before the appointment and presented with insurance card at the appointment time. The manager was very rude and was not helpful to solve their offices problem. She said the bill will be sent to collection if I dont pay it and rudely SHUT the phone while I was talking to her. This office did not hold responsibility of their own mistakes and mismanagement and acted disrespectful to their customers. I would not trust this office for any dental care service. Today, I received Lone Tree Modern Dental bill at 9227 E. Lincoln Ave, #100, Lone Tree.

The dentists are great but the office staff makes this location impossible to trust. Theyve repeatedly submitted incorrect claims to my insurance (they initially quoted the procedure for a dentist that doesnt even work in their office), given misinformation and wildly inaccurate cost estimates, and have made less than no effort to follow through on correcting those mistakes. Ive been told more than once that theyd "look into something" only to find out later that it was never addressed. I only recommend this practice to someone who has the time and patience to submit claims for EVERY procedure ahead of time - even routine cleanings - AND to follow up to ensure the paperwork was done correctly. Do not believe any costs they "estimate" for you unless you have documentation in hand. They also like to add on extra paid services without telling you about an up-charge so I think the documentation would help with that as well.
