Ive been going to Dr. Olsen for my dentistry since 2002. I specifically looked for a dentist with a wholistic approach to Dentistry. I did this because I was having major complications with my Mercury fillings. I had spoke with several dentists about this problem and they didnt have any solutions for me. When I called Dr. Olsen about that same problem he wasnt surprised that I was having those issues. In fact he had seen this before and he had a solution that worked! I like the fact that Dr.Olsen understands that my teeth are not separate from my body. Because of his wholistic approach to dentistry I learned to look at my teeth problems through a different lens which led me to discover that the root cause for my bad teeth problems were not coming from my mouth but from things like stress and allergies. Once I dealt with those issues over time I no longer had bad teeth. Dr. Olsen has the heart of a teacher and educates and explains any procedure that he is about to perform and takes the time to answer my questions. He even follows up with a phone call if he has performed any major teeth work to make sure everything feels ok. That kind of service is a real treat! Also, I have to admit Dr. Olsen has always had such a friendly staff that I find myself excited to go to my dentist appointments so I can say hi to everybody! Dr. Olsen only accepts adults as patients so as soon as our 3 kids were old enough we transferred them over from their childrens dentist to Colorado Wellness Dentistry. They were amazed at the warm environment and care given by Dr. Olsen and his staff. We are so grateful for our experience at Colorado Wellness Dentistry! Thank you Dr. Olsen and the whole staff!

I love these guys!!! Ive been seeing Dr. Olsen for 3 years now and I couldnt be happier. The care they provide is truly from the heart, as if you are part of their family! Many dental offices process their patients like they are cattle, trying to jam an many through the door each day as they can. Thats not the case with Dr. Olsen and his fabulous staff. They schedule a limited number of patients each day which allows each patient more time with the hygienist. You never feel rushed! They are a fee for service provider, which I love! They are never fighting to make a living based on what dental insurance is going to pay them. You simply pay them for the service as your receive it. Jana is awesome and upon your request she will file a claim with your insurance provider on your behalf. That way you get reimbursed shortly after your appointment from your provider. The difference in cost is trivial but the difference in care because of this process is unmeasurable. As a naturopathic dentist, Dr. Olsen has a different view on care then other dentists Ive seen. He focuses on ways to prevent degradation of your oral health through diet and lifestyle and he works directly with the naturopathic doctor down the hall, Dr. Meier, for whole health care. I couldnt be more pleased with the care provided by Dr. Olsen and his fabulous staff and I highly recommend them to anyone who truly cares about their oral health.

This is the very first visit to a dentists office that I can say I enjoyed. One might ask how you can enjoy a visit to the dentist. The answer is very clear...its the approach by Dr. Olsen & staff to the care & treatment of their patients that sets them apart in the dental industry. The only way to experience the difference is to make an appointment for a visit. Dental visits usually are not an enjoyable experience however Dr. Olsen & his staff are very personable & make you feel very comfortable. When you first walk into the office you are able to tell the "difference" immediately. The consultation is not superficial but very thorough with detailed information that will help one to make a better qualified decision about treatment. This is the first dental visit Ive been to in my 68 years that makes me excited about my dental & overall health care because of the protocol & interest Dr. Olsen & staff employ in the care & treatment of their patients. I learned a lot in my consultation with Dr. Olsen that gives me the hope about experiencing better health because of better dental treatment through modern & advanced technology & better personal care. I called to see about getting my teeth cleaned without getting x-rays. CWD initially said no, they wouldnt do it without x-rays. We politely hung up with each other. I got a call back from CWD saying that they would clean my teeth without x-rays. I made the appointment, went in, sat in the chair. The hygienist poked my gums to the point where I wanted to jump out of the chair and my gums were bleeding. They said I had huge pockets in my gums and refused to clean my teeth unless I spent a lot of money on lab work to do bacteria cultures in my mouth. Then I would have to buy the probiotics that they wanted me to take, then I could come back and get my teeth cleaned. I left after driving all the way across town and blew half the day on this appointment. On my way home, I stopped at another dentist. They had an opening that day, so I went in. Nobody hurt me. They did the pocket check and said the pockets were half of what CWD had said. No blood bath, either. They cleaned my teeth and I went home. Turn and run from CWD. They are a bunch of scam artists and the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies protects them.

Dr. Steve Olsen is an excellent Dentist that you can Trust! His staff has been caring for my teeth for over 20 years. He and his staff ONLY recommend services that you actually NEED to have performed. Which will save you literally $1000s of dollars over any other dentist you could go to. MOST dentist will find any reason to PULL TEETH, create crowns, or do fillings when they are NOT NEEDED. But NOT Dr. Olsen!!! His staff not only does an excellent job of cleaning my teeth on every visit, but he also advises me of my options and allows ME to make an informed decision about my own health. He also uses natural and other safe ingredients whenever possible during cleanings and all other procedures to promote your best health! The staff has always been courteous and friendly, and you will see the same professional and friendly faces each time you come in for a visit! Give them a try and experience the difference yourself! I highly recommend Colorado Wellness Dentistry. Dr. Olsen is the first dentist I have visited that took time to explain the connection between healthy teeth and a healthy body - and how to proactively change habits to improve overall health. Who would have thought variations of bacteria levels in your mouth could indicate there may be issues with your heart? I had no idea that this could be monitored and/or managed. I am confident my health is better as a result of working with this dentist. If you are of the mindset that it is better to be proactive when it comes to managing your health rather than simply fix something when it goes wrong this is a good dentist for you.
