Possibly the worst customer service/patient care I have ever experienced at a medical office. I had a consultation appointment in October of 2012 and the doctor recommended a specific form of treatment. He instructed me to speak to Melissa at the front desk to get it scheduled. Over the course of the next 3 months, I made repeated phone calls to the office to try and find what the status of the preauthorization was for my treatment, with no success. The first time I called (after several weeks of waiting), it turned out Melissa had not even contacted my insurance company to get the preauthorization process started. Each time I called after that, I was told some thing or another was necessary and they were "still waiting for it". Over 3 months after my initial appointment, I was still waiting for Melissa to do what was necessary to get my treatment scheduled. I graduated in Dec. 2012, my student health insurance ran out in Jan. 2013 and I never got the treatment I needed. Just to rub salt in the wound, I had very nearly met my deductible for the year and would have had very little out of pocket expense for a treatment I had been needing. THEN, just to rub more salt in the wound, it took Lake Loveland dermatology 16 months (Feb. 2014) to send me a bill for what turned out to be a completely useless appointment that I had back in October of 2012. Not exactly what I would call the best dermatology care available. As of this writing, I have treatment scheduled for June with another dermatology office. I had to wait until I got a job with benefits and wait until I became eligible for the insurance. My new insurance plan has a $2000 deductible, so now Ill be paying for the entire treatment out of pocket. Thanks Lake Loveland Dermatology!

Called and couldnt get operator to schedule an appointment. Was unsure if my Blue Cross Blue Shield was a PPO or HMO plan. Told her it didnt really matter, as I just wanted a mole looked at/removed and a recommendation on a Keloid treatment (to minimize). I told the operator I was willing to pay out of pocket, cash, credit card, insurance, or whatever. I figured 2-4 visits to wrap everything up (1 visit to assess, 1 or 2 to treat, maybe another followup). This did not deter the operator from their insistence about plans (didnt get the chance to ask if Optima worked). About the time they started offering their Tax ID number for me to go find out if BCBS covers them, it became clear that billable insurance is greater than care (still never found out if they do Keloid treatments, like the enzyme cream or steroid shot or what). NOTE: My review does not reflect the services offered. I was unsuccessful in making an appointment. The next Dermatologist I called was able to make my appointment (time and place) before we discussed insurance, so apparently it is possible. UPDATE: Place over on 29th, great on all accounts. Dr. Aaron Hoover, fantastic MD, professional, to the point, non-patronizing.

Cruel. Went to this place after being referred by midwife. Was 8 months pregnant at the time and developed excoriation disorder(so sad) during the pregnancy as the skin was stretching and getting itchy. Saw one of the specialist there that took a brief look at the affected area of skin and got ridiculed saying that I needed a psychologist and got sent home with a small sample of ointment. First off yall work in dermatology youre not equipped to make judgements like that. Secondly how could you be so insensitive towards someone whos having a difficult time during their pregnancy. Come to find out many women go through this during pregnancy. I dont know how this can be considered a professional facility with so much judgement and attitude being tossed around. I think youre in the wrong line of work and I hope if you ever come into my place of work (also a branch in the medical field), not I or anybody that I work with makes you feel the way you made me and from the looks of it so many others feel.

I had a horrible experience. 1.Katie the PA did not know what was actually going on with my skin, instead she suggested expensive medications that made no sense (I saw another Doctor and he was shocked at what she suggested). She threw terms, and jargon around. Didnt take the time to actually look at my problem area. Didnt address any of my concerns. 2. The check out woman was exceptionally rude, so much so I believe she enjoys being mean. 3. Took me two weeks for someone to answer the phone to even make an appointment. I would say go somewhere else. Waste of time, waste of money. I dont want anyone to have a bad experience. Medical issues are hard enough to deal with, having mean doctors, and receptionists should never be a problem. Wish I would have read the reviews here before I went.

My family and I have been going to this practice for a few years. I went to my scheduled appointment this morning and found out they do not take my new insurance. My insurance company has this practice listed as being in-network on the website. I called my insurance and they confirmed again that this practice is listed as in-network. It would have been nice it the office staff confirmed my new insurance before I wasted my time showing up for the appointment. Very inconsiderate of the front desk staff. When I asked how much the appointment would cost, the front desk person stated 90-500 dollars. I am really disappointed that I was treated this way being a returning customer that happened to change insurance. I schedule another appointment with a dermatologist in Fort Collins with no issue.

Great experience! I live in Texas and came across several articles of interest on the Lake Loveland Dermatology Facebook page. I contacted the office to purchase products that are not offered by my local dermatologist. Received a very prompt response back indicating they were willing to ship the products to me! Now I get products that I am certain are not fakes (always a concern when purchasing a higher end beauty product from an open source market such as Amazon) delivered to my house. It doesnt get much better than that!

My experience was wonderful. The first time I went to have a spot checked, which turned out to be nothing, but Dr. Bair checked out my entire body and looked at a mole on my arm and said that has to go. I said, I have had that all my life and no one has ever said anything about it. Well, she is one smart Dr. It turned out to be melanoma the size of a golf ball. She is very conscientious and knows what she is doing. So glad I went. I have been back many times since then and had all good experiences!

Easy to set up an appointment for the first time. Instead of going early and sitting in the waiting room to fill out paperwork it was available online to do at my convenience. The office staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Larsens nurse was warm and made sure I had a positive experience. Dr. Larsen was very thorough and answered any question I had. Unfortunately I may need a future treatment but I have every expectation that I will have the very best care.

Staff was accommodating when asking for information regarding pre-approval for insurance, and very friendly when I came in for my appointment. I came in saw Dr. Seitz, he addressed the issue and I was out within 30 minutes. Dr. Seitz was very professional and really seemed to enjoy his job. We laughed and joked around which made my visit fun and less painful. Thank you Dr. Seitz and staff... I would recommend you in the future!!
