Being new to the area, I was really nervous to start the process of finding a dermatologist that could help me with my adult acne and a recent eczema flare-up. After reading the reviews online that seemed too good to be true, I decided to give Azeal Dermatology a try. I am certainly happy that I did! Though I was only going in for acne and a rash, Dr. Hale did a full examination of my skin to make sure there were no other concerns. She was extremely thorough, answered all of my questions, and really took the time to make sure I was completely taken care of and fully understood everything we discussed. I never once felt like I was being rushed through the appointment at all, like tends to happen at so many doctors offices. I could tell Dr. Hale really cared about my treatment. Not only was the appointment great, but Dr. Hale went the extra mile to ensure that all of my prescriptions arrived in a timely manner and in as cost effective a way as possible, and even gave me enough samples to get started on my treatment right away. Also, I have been blown away by her responsiveness whenever I have a question, both via phone and email. A couple of questions I had emailed in were answered in less than 10 minutes! That sure beats other doctors whom you seem to have to continually call and harass for answers, or that force you to make an appointment for something simple. If anyone is looking for a dermatologist in the Boulder/Gunbarrel area, I highly recommend Dr. Hale and Azeal dermatology!

I am your average outdoorsman. I like anything that comes in camo. I work in the field and sometimes live in my truck for 6 months a year. Im lucky enough to earn a living hiking over 1000 miles a year. Biology is cool. When I finally noticed some thing on my face that wouldnt go away I ignored it. Dang thing kept coming back for over a year or longer. So I reluctantly decided to have it checked out. I havent seen a doctor in 15 years. I came to Azeal out of chance while visiting family in Gunbarrel. I grew up here and It just so happened to be the closest place. The super classy waiting room didnt deter me when I walked in, a Tim Allen grunt may have slipped out under my breath but I cant remember. I prefer man cave decor but I knew my wife would love the classy touch if she were with me so I remained steadfast. The friendly staff greeted me right away and Dr. Hale got me in and out super fast. Even though I live out of state my new dermatologist for life is now Dr. Hale. She was very intelligent, witty and has a great sense of humor. Dr. Hale looked at my face and explained why the pre-cancerous area kept coming and going. I was praised for catching it early and she treated the area right then and there. She recommended some OTC shampoo and I also got the 411 on the best sunscreen which I appreciated. Thanks Dr. Hale!

Dr. Hale is wonderful. As an adult suffering from lifelong acne, I went to her feeling pretty dejected. She listened to my thoughts, concerns, and my long list of everything Ive tried to date with patience and compassion. She took the time to discuss my concerns with me and answer them with thoughtful answers. She had a discussion with me rather than a hurried prescriptive lecture. I was very impressed and appreciative of this; it is very rare in the medical world! She educated me on skin care as well as product and was sensitive to what I thought might not work because of previous experience. In honesty, what she advised me to do, outside of the skin care recommendations, is not that different from other doctors Ive seen, but her excellent bedside manner made me want to follow her recommendations despite previous experience. Ive followed her advice to the letter and am seeing improvements after only a few days. I highly recommend her and her office. Everyone there was welcoming and fun to chat with!

The best dermatology office I have ever been to, and Dr. Hale is amazing. The facility was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were polite, helpful and easy to talk to. Everything ran on time. Dr. Hale took the time to listen to all my concerns and questions on my adult acne. It was obvious she was well researched and up to date on the latest information. She offered me several avenues of treatment. Dr.Hale was cost conscious on the products she recommended and the prescriptions, which is something I appreciate. She even helped me out when my insurance was causing trouble with a prescription! I came back in the next day for a free consultation for makeup that they recommend with Acne. Again, staff was courteous and my appointment was on time. Everything was explained well and my questions were answered. I sincerely look forward to working with Dr. Hale and her team in the future.

Dr. Pilkington and her staff at Azeal Dermatology Institute are nothing short of amazing! From the time you walk in to their beautiful offices you feel pampered and welcomed by their entire team. I had the pleasure of receiving my first hydra facial and not only is the room beautiful, relaxing and sets the tone for pampering, but the staff took the time to walk me through each step of the hydra facial as they completed the process. Staff truly take the time to interact and get to know you. The hydra facial feels WONDERFUL! I told the staff my face felt like it was 25 years old again! I feel so blessed to have found Azeal Dermatology. The facility is absolutely stunning and has only the most cutting edge in technology and products. Nicki Boettcher is absolutely amazing. She is so incredibly knowledgable in all aspects of skin care. She has truly turned my skin around. I have been seeking skin care treatments and products for over 10 years in attempt to correct breakouts and sun damage, and it wasnt until finding Nicki that I finally saw the results I was looking for. Dr. Jamie Hale was able to answer all of my questions, simplify complicated concepts for me, made sure I was taking the correct vitamins and doing everything naturally first and then listed out a plan of action to help me. She spent time with me and was not rushed. Ive seen several dermatologists in the past and by far she was extremely resourceful, very friendly, and very attentive and when I left I felt rejuvenated and so excited to see her again. All I can say is WOW!!! I went into the clinic for a Hydrafacial from Nicki today. It was the most wonderful experience! Words cant describe how amazing my skin felt when she was done. Nicki is so personable and knowledgeable in her field and her treatment room was warm and inviting. From the moment I walked through the Azeal Dermatology Institute doors, the ambiance and serenity was felt immediately. The professional atmosphere and staff were welcoming and caring. I look forward to working with Nicki again and anxious to work with Dr. Stacey Pilkington and Dr. Jamie Hale soon.
