The Doctors at Denver Dermatology have changed since last year. The new docs missed half of my actinic keratosis spots. They are impersonal and act very much like you are part of an assembly line of patients that they see to get paid. The staff is indifferent. The first thing they told us was that we had an outstanding bill from last year of $8. We always pay all our bills immediately and we pay insurance co-pay the day we receive treatment. So this was a surprise. There was no explanation of why we had an outstanding balance of $8, only that we werent billed because they have a policy not to bill for anything less than $12. Right after informing us of this surprise, one of their staff mentioned, "Oh, and dont expect any more free treatments." Our reply was, "What free treatments?" Their response was, "Well, the previous doctors would treat more areas than they charged for. Were not doing that anymore."

Overall it was average experience. Doctor spent a few minutes performing an visual exam. Didnt seem to care much for who I was as an individual but more so just going through the motions. After exam, he gave me two options for a wart on my foot, freeze it off or let it be. When I asked him for his medical opinion he said "its your choice". Now, while it is true thats its my choice I think medical opinion is warranted more than just giving the options if the patient asks. Doctor was very fast and got me out the door in 15 minutes. I could tell he really was just going through the process and didnt really care about the decisions I was making not the outcomes. Maybe its a problem with the medical community as a whole? If you want an quick experience this is your place but you wont get personal attention.

Worst office ever. Ive been a patient here for years. But when I drove over an hour from castle rock for my apt today, the very rude desk staff advised due to a change in corporate ownership, nothing would bill to my insurance and they had no idea what the cost for the visit would be. What kind of joke is an office who cant even tell you your cost, only that you will have to pay in full. Ive never had issues with my insurance (united healthcare) here in the last. Desk said "yea, its not your insurance its our new corporate owners". Hmmmm maybe good to advise patients before they drive an hour. What a waste of time. Avoid at all costs. Not to mention the office is dilapidated and gross.

I havent been in yet, but I called for an appointment as a new patient and the receptionist was great! She made sure I had all of the information I needed, offered to send an invite to their patient portal so I could do my paperwork prior to my visit (super important since Im taking time off work to go), and listened to my issue without making me feel like I was wasting her time. If my visit goes as smoothly as scheduling did, I will be a happy camper. They could teach my primary care docs staff some things.

My wife and I recently were seen at Denver Dermatology Consultants. We had a very good experience with all aspects of the Wheat Ridge office and will be using them for our dermatology needs in the future. The front desk was kind and helpful and our appointments were as on time as I have ever experienced from a specialist office. John the Nurse Practitioner and Dr. Wright were both very professional and we felt that they went above and beyond to meet our needs. Thank you for the compassionate care.

Ive seen Dr. Packer for a handful of biopsies and hes always been quick, efficient, and left very minimal scarring. Hes pretty to the point, and after doing this for 34 years he really knows what hes doing. The front desk staff and both nurses Ive been with in biopsies have been super nice and thorough.

Doctor Simondynes is honest and thorough. The staff is awesome. Sara in billing was great to work with. She was way beyond the call of duty.Dr Wright did an exceptional mohs surgery 1/4 of an inch below my eye. You would not know about it unless I had told you about it

Dr. Welch is exceptional. I came in to see her for an injection and she took care of it right away. She seems to really care about helping you look and feel your best. Her enthusiasm and friendly personality are infectious. No wonder Dr. Welch is booked up!
