DO NOT LET THIS OFFICE (OR ANY) COLLECT YOUR FULL DEDUCTIBLE UP FRONT! I had a procedure done by Hills Center for Derm. that was covered by my insurance plan. Of course, the office did a pre-authorization with my insurance company and received the estimate of what would be covered and what I would be responsible to pay. Basically, I owed 30% and my insurance benefits and insurance would pay 70%. However, the day of the procedure I was told that the entire fee would be subject to deductible. Therefore, I agreed to charging my FSA account the full deductible amount. BIG, HUGE MISTAKE - VERIFY PRIOR TO THE PROCEDURE WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY IS. FSA accounts are highly regulated, if you cant substantiate the expense within a few days..they shut off your card until you repay. And in this case, its up to me to recoup the amount Hills Derm. is holding and then send it to my FSA vendor. We are CUSTOMERS...even in our medical providers office. Unfortunately, that means we need to take the time to verify the information provided by insurance to Hills Derm. and make your payment arrangements with the complete information.

I have been going to Dr Hill for a few years, and I have never had a bad experience. As a person with a history of skin cancers, I have to be diligent in my skin healthcare. The staff at Dr. Hills office is always courteous, professional, and very easy to talk to. My appointments are always on time, so I have never been left sitting in a waiting room for a half hour because they are overbooked that day (a pet peeve of mine). Dr. Hill is very knowledgeable, personable, explains things fully, and is very reasonable on what needs to be looked at further, and what is fine. I am thorough about my skin healthcare, so I also go separately to the CU research hospital to get checked periodically, and the diagnosis is always consistent both places, and he is highly thought of there too. So, yes, glowing review. Much deserved.

The best dermatologist in Colorado! I was thrilled to finally find a Doctor that was personable, precise and professional in every aspect of his care. After multiple encounters with other dermatologists, I was never satisfied with the care I was getting for the money I paid. Dr. Stan Hill is full of personality and as a patient, I can truly see he enjoys what he does. I would recommend Dr. Hill over any other skin care provider and refuse to go anywhere else.

I was mislead on what the cost would be for minor skin surgery. My bill with the pathologist was over $550.00. Sure would have been nice to know before I paid another $420.00 for the surgery. There response was "looks like you have a high deductible". Additional treatment was recommended. I asked that they contact my insurance company to see what they might cover, they never got back to me.

Great office- every member of staff here was friendly, kind, and helpful, and I was seen right on time for my appointment. Candice Dorris patiently discussed all of my skin concerns with me, and gave me detailed information on my treatment options. She and the nurse assisting her were also incredibly kind about my fear of needles, and I felt comfortable and well cared for during my visit.

My new favorite doctor. He is easy to talk with. He is very friendly, professional, thorough and respectful. He never made me feel rushed and answered all of my questions. He was on time!!! It is amazing to find a doctor like this when the usual experience is the opposite. I will be telling people I know about him!

I LOVE this place! The staff are all great and knowledgeable, from the front desk to the nurses. Dr Hill found basal cell carcinoma on my nose a year ago, took care of it right away and though it was a scary painful process Dr Hill made me feel as comfortable as possible. Ive recommended him to several people.
