I began seeing Dr. Zhu four months ago after nearly ten years at another local provider. Dr. Zhu listened closely to my concerns, identified with them and walked me through her recommended action plan. She addressed my concerns with the recommended medication, thoroughly answered all of my questions and pointed me to outside resources where I could obtain further edification if desired. Additionally, she always made it clear that I could reach out to her should further questions or concerns arise at any time. My expectations were exceeded, in that regard, on the evening of December 23rd when I suddenly experienced extreme lip swelling. Unsure of what to do, I called Dr. Zhus office expecting an answering service that might further direct me. Instead, her office phone had been forwarded to her home phone where my call reached a gentleman (I assume her husband) who handed the phone over to Dr. Zhu in a matter of seconds. After a series of questions and me sending over multiple "selfies", she quickly directed my next steps, advised me of what to look for (throat swelling, go to the hospital immediately, etc) and in a matter of hours all was nearly back to normal. It turns out that this incident was not related to the medication I was on but just a unforeseen allergic reaction. Despite this, Dr. Zhu followed up with me every day over the next few days to ensure that I was recovering as anticipated. Just four months into my treatment my skin has never looked better, in my adult life, than it does today and I am confident that Dr. Zhu truly cares about me, and all of her patients, and seeks to obtain only the very best results.

My experience with Dr. Zhu was horrible. She came into the exam room and immediately threw topical products at me, all of which contained chemicals I have been trying to avoid. She did not try to ask me any questions, or allow me to ask her any questions. She was certain she found the root of the problem. So certain that she did not want to fully explain to me what a skin patch test was, other than throw me a brochure. She was certain that I was allergic to jojoba oil, so she threw me some sodium laurel sulfate cleanser and recommended that I put dove on my face. I have had a chronic condition for 2+ years now and it has not gone away. My mother had perioral dermatitis. My chin nose and mouth have been chronically irritate even after removing ALL products. The information she gave me was totally invaluable and unprofessional. She did not want to have a conversation with me or even listen. There were no questions about my diet. Nothing. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

The staff was very good and informative. I went in for a couple of issues. Yet Dr Zhu seemed in a rush. To the point when I was almost done I had remembered to talk to her about something else of concern but she didnt know what the issue was when I mentioned some possibilities she was like no I dont think so. Then said Id have to take a biopsy. Her practice wants the percentage of money upfront as for the 20% of different procedures. Thats fine its her practice yet many dont have the cash right upfront. Needless to say I didnt get any answers or results from the visit and felt hustled in and out. Wont go back.

The staff were friendly but not necessarily fully informative or competent. I was not told what I should have been told prior to going in for my first visit. Couple that with the fact that one of the staff members didnt do her job correctly or proactively, and you have a bit of a mess. The office is small enough that the doctor knew there was something wrong and that didnt prompt her to check to see what she could do to remedy the problem. That confirmed the fact that my business was not needed. I dont "pay" to be treated poorly or inadequately. Anyone know of a good dermatologist...?

Very satisfied with my visit to Dr. Zhu. Staff helped me with paperwork on arrival and did ask if I checked my insurance which I had. Good idea to know what you will be paying for before you come. I did not wait long to see the Dr. and she was very thorough checking my skin. She burned off a few possible pre-cancerous areas and discussed my skin care (fair skin). Also discussed my facial skin care and made a recommendation for the Clairsonic which I have been using for several months and love. It did make a difference. Have recommended her highly already, will continue to do so.

I dont know why there are any negative reviews? This clinic and the provider are great. I think what people need to realize before visiting is that Dr. Zhu is a very fast talker (as am I) but this shouldnt be misunderstood for rushing. She has always given me her time, expertise, and very good advise. The insurance review and payment process have also always been great. She even recommended coupon programs that I could use and have saved tremendously.

The Most awful Dr. Ive ever been to she did absolutely nothing she didnt even examine my skin she was trying to rush me out of the office wouldnt let me talk before I could even tell her my concern she would just over talk me. Was trying to just get me to go to another place. Was not informative at all DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING HERE. I NEVER WROTE REVIEWS BUT HOW BAD IT WAS I JUST HAD TO MAKE SURE OTHERS ARE AWARE! !

Dr. Zhu provides professional and to the point medical advice. She provided me practical, low cost solutions to problems that other dermatologists couldnt solve with more expensive and intrusive methods. Ive had two separate issues that other docs couldnt solve, but Dr. Zhu provided succinct and affordable solutions to. She told me shed rather provide good advice than get rich on her patients. I believe it!

Dr. Isabella Zhu told my mother she had skin cancer when she was already diagnosed with granuloma and scared the hell out of us. She also told her she was diabetic. Surprise all of the tests came back negative. She also spoke poorly of my mothers other doctors as if they didnt know what they were talking about. Completely unimpressed.

Dr. Zhu used a heated needle to "cook" the imperfections on my face. She promised that my body would absorb the by-products over a bit of time. She was exactly right! It took about 3+ weeks for my face to be free of what I call "goobers". It feels great to have a really smooth complexion to face the new year!
