Parker Center Animal Clinic is the best, top-notch vet clinic I have ever found. They are the most kind, considerate and caring people I have met over the years. From the Owners to the Veterinarians, Vet Techs, Receptionists; everyone is always so helpful and ready to lend a hand with whatever you may need. I am in PCAC twice weekly with my dog Mac. There are so many vets closer to me, but I choose to drive 81 miles because I consider Parker Center my family. Mac is 11 1/2 years old and has been coming here since birth. He has had cancer surgery, along with 3 or 4 other procedures and I have never found one single reason not to trust them. All of the staff have been absolutely outstanding with every procedure performed there. There has never been a time when I was worried about the care Mac was receiving. He hates going in for his Sub-Q fluids, but once he gets inside, he takes off to give everyone love. There isnt a single person he doesnt like. We have traveled across this great country of ours, and Ive been in hundreds of clinics with Mac, but never one as exceptional as this. When my son had iguanas, we took them in there as well. The staff would help us out with them as they were very knowledgable about their health and well-being. They gave us many ideas on how to care for them properly and let us know about the food they really needed to keep them happy and healthy. I believe that PCAC is unparalleled to any Veterinary Hospital in the U.S. Im very pleased that they are active within the community and honestly and truly care not only for the pets they see, but for the pets owners as well. They are members of AAHA, and that in it-self speaks volumes. The lobby, restroom, treatment rooms, back rooms, the entire clinic is always spotless. There is no need to worry about cleanliness here. I am very grateful for Dr. Motichka and his wife Kelly for all they have done in taking care of our beloved Mac. If it werent for them, and all of their excellent staff, Mac would not be here with us today.

NOTE: DR WAS GOOD, BUSINESS ETHICS VERY POOR We just adopted Peanut. A 7 yr old red tabby. He is sure sweet. Tuesday we took him for the FREE vet check. He has an upper respiratory infection vet says is common when they are stressed. The DFL told us they would cover the RX for in the first 15 days. The vet gave a print out of 3 meds. We got home from the vet and called the DFL health line they gave us in the packet. We read to them the meds prescribed.. An antibiotic injection, an eye cream and something to put on his food. The DFL said to go ahead and bring Peanut to the Buddy Center. Husband got there and they said they had to have actual written prescriptions not an order on a print out from the vet. Called the vet for the Rx’s to be faxed to the DFL. Vet had to get a signed authorization from us to release the Rx to the DFL. Seriously? This is an animal. Vet faxed the release; husband signed and faxed it back. Then waited...and waited...then called the vet who said that it takes 24 hours for the RX. Are you kidding me? Husband and Peanut got home and I called the vet. I was very angry. The agreed to see Peanut right away and give him the medications. So 4 hours of chasing vets and the DFL and $104.00 in medication, Peanut is on the mend. My issue is this. It seems that if the DFL is using these vets they have listed in the book they should also be checking to be sure everyone knows what is expected. Or, I wonder if they have this all planned out that the DFL does not have access to all these meds in the forms prescribed from the vet so that the consumer HAS TO PAY FULL PRICE ANYWAY for this free vet visit. I can tell you and everyone else that I WILL NOT BE RETRNING TO PARKER CENTER ANIMAL CLINIC. But we sure do LOVE PEANUT!!!

I have been coming here 20+ years and have just had enough! 1 - This place is constantly trying to gouge you for every penny, at every turn possible. And our dog is totally healthy. Today it was a $215 totally optional ultrasound they tried to get me with at the last minute. 2 - Each procedure is more expensive than e competition to begin with. Go ahead and shop around. Nails clipped? $25! But if you buy 10 you get one free, wow what a deal! (Sarcasm) 3 - you wont see the same vet twice. Its like a revolving door of random vets from all over the country. Go ahead, ask your vet how long they have been in Parker? 4 - they will leave your pet in a kennel all day for no reason. They have done that to me twice now, and I have had enough! I drop my dog off for an 8 am procedure and they didnt start until 4:30 pm. TWICE THEY DID THIS TO MY DOG! Why!?!? He hasnt eaten in 18 hours so they can pack more cleanings in and make more money per day. Its disgusting really that they pack so many poor animals all in at 7am just to maximize profit. Could they do less dogs per day, and focus more on fast care? Nope. They are maximizing profit at my animals expense. It angers me to think I have now gone through this 2 times in a row. Its just business as usual here, and thats sad. I am not letting this happen a 3rd time. You lost me as probably one of your oldest customers. This place is cash vending machine for its owners, good for them. No more.

CHECK THEIR YELP REVIEWS!! This place is more focused on making money than dog health and its disgusting. As a relatively new dog owner I am very upset with the feeling of being pushed to buy vaccines they may or may not need as well as being up-sold. I told them 5 times during the course of our visit that one of my dogs had his 3 year rabies and did not need another one yet. It got to the point where the Vet had the needle in hand when I reminded them a 6th time and they stopped. This place to me is more focused on making money (though I cant blame a business for operating this way) than helping my dogs. A vet or doctor is not a place where you should be up-sold and pushed to pay for things they may or may not need, and force a new dog owner to make an on the spot decision and make them feel guilty if they choose not to vaccinate. My dog then had an allergic reaction (which they did NOT warn me about at all) and when I called to see if I could bring her in and asked if they would charge me (since I just spent over $500 the day before...) they were eager to give a resounding YES to the fact that they would charge me for an allergic reaction they caused and did not warn me about. Please check Yelp as I believe they are doctoring their Google reviews.

PCAC has always been awesome to us. Our family has two dogs and PCAC was always great when our dogs were healthy and in for their check-ups. PCAC really stood out, though, when one of our dogs was bit by another dog which began a six month long struggle. They were by our side through it all. They did everything they could to save her. They did what they could in office and referred us out to multiple specialists when needed. They always kept our financial limit in mind, though, and would discuss different options with us. We never felt pressured to choose a certain path. When we finally found out what problems the bite had caused, we discovered that there was nothing else we could do and must put our dog to sleep. Their office talked through this difficult decision with us. Afterwards, Motichka sent a sweet hand-written card offering his condolences and kind words of encouragement. From the beginning to the end, this office has made us feel comfortable and taken care of.
