Took our fussy 9 year old cat to board for an evening as when we leave her at home alone overnight we run a risk of accidents occurring in inappropriate places. The staff at the front didnt tell me until the day of dropoff that because she was new and they didnt know how she would behave that she wouldnt be let out into the cat room to explore (good thing she was only staying for one night - would she have spent a week in her cage - I mean "cabin"?) I told them that there was a chance that she wouldnt use the pellet litter - I get that this stuff is more environmentally friendly/cheaper but a lot of cats are new to it or dont like it because of the texture. First moment of worry for me - they didnt have another option available and didnt seem concerned at all though Id be welcome to bring her own litter next time of course. Picked her up late the next day. No one volunteered information that she had hardly eaten over the day and a half and had not gone to the bathroom at all (I had to ask for about it and there seemed to be no concern whatsoever). Which meant of course, that as soon as they set her in the crate down in the lobby that she peed. In the crate. It was a long drive home and a bath for her. Cats are more difficult to board - they dont always handle environmental changes and stress well, but shouldnt your staff be better trained in how to work with them and things they might do to help them feel more at ease, and to eat, and to use the litterbox? I was so upset because I wondered had we gone away for a week at what point they might have started to be concerned and called to let us know she wasnt doing well, or if it was just an attitude of if shes hungry enough or has to pee badly enough shell just do it. Maybe they are fine with dogs (although somewhat overpriced). All of these boarding places seem to put so much more care into their canine charges and the felines are just an afterthought (hey, we have an extra room in the back, we could put some cats in there and make a little more money?). I appreciated that they had a separate room for the cats and that they were playing music so that it was fairly calm in there. That was about it. I expected far better though (the only reason we stopped taking them to this vet was because of the cost, but we have used their emergency services before and they have been great). Really disappointed. I expected far better based on the reputation that they are connected to.

The old blonde at the front desk is the reason well never bring our pets back there. I seriously think she strives to be the most UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE person that she is. All she does is give attitude and smirks whenever you have an issue to address with the service you received. We will never bring our pets back due to the service the old blonde lady gives everyone. We talked with a couple of ours friends about our incident and they also wont be bringing their pets back. I really hope shes worth losing multiple customers over! Were also submitting a complaint to VCA corporate about her. When a customer is upset with something and her solution is to smirk, roll her eyes and give an insane amount of attitude....thats not customer service. Whats even more sad is no one including the hospital mgr did anything to try and fix the situation. She also didnt correct the older ladies attitude! Well be leaving the appropriate 1 star review everywhere.

Our 2 dogs go to VCA Mountainview for grooming, Veterinary service and boarding. It is SO convenient to have all of your services in one place, and a comfort to our dogs as they become familiar with that one place. The groomers do an excellent job every time, they always compliment our dogs good behavior and call us first if they have any questions about what we want. We see Dr. Fordham, and he is so good with the dogs, very kind, gentle, with good advice, and not high pressure about anything. We have been going here for about 7 years, and any time we have had any issue arise, they have handled things very promptly and professionally! Thank you for taking such good care of Emerson and Olivia!!! They are always excited to come and see you!

Worst experience with lodging my pet ever! Booked the VIP suite and when we checked in, receptionist didnt know if they had a suite available after we reserve it a couple of weeks prior. 2rd, the camera in the suite was not working either and took them 2 days for it to work after contacting the customer representative through the "contact us" link in their website through email. Contacted the customer service representative again with no response to which I had to call to get any info while vacationing internationally. Would not recommend the lodging service here at all. Lack of communication seems to be they issue on their part!

Unbelievably awful experience. Called and was told to bring my dog in immediately. When I got there, I was told, without seeing a doctor, that it was unnecessary. The doctor wouldnt talk to me. I asked that the office administrator call me to discuss my experience, and I never received a call. I took my dog to another emergency center and was told that doing so may have saved the dog from a lot of pain and agony and us additional costs down the road. Maybe an unusual experience, but one that will make me avoid this vet in the future.

The atmosphere was pleasant warm and very professional. Lauren was my groomer for our little Shih-Tzu, Misu. I must say she was so conscientious, considerate, professional and possesses a great disposition with a loving manner. As a former business owner selling to the Federal Government, I am very particular; everyone from Lauren to the office staff, was outstanding professional and a job well executed! I ❤ it!

We absolutely love VCA and the entire staff. Multiple generations of our labs (from their birth to tender passing) have been cared for by loving vets, groomers, trainers and welcoming staff. Our two newest labs (Kodi and Misty) just received their first grooming (aka spa day) and love it, thanks to Ashley. We wouldnt take our pets anywhere else! The Parker Family

I cannot say enough nice things about this vet. We recently visited for the first time, sick cat, and they were fantastic. Very caring and professional. What impressed me most was the fairness they showed in billing. They could have nickeled and dimed me, but they did not. Their prices are very reasonable. Their kindness has won my business.

We have used the boarding, daycare and veterinary services at VCA for a few years. I love the staff because they put the customer first and really seem to love the animals and their jobs. They take the best care of our dog when she is there, providing her with extra special attention. The vets are very personable and quite adept in animal care.

Absolutely love the staff there. Made an appointment as a new customer - my pups needed just one shot each. The exam was free for each dog as the new customer. My two dogs were seen by Dr. Longley, and he took his time addressing every single concern of mine, answered all my questions. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous.
