When I searched for a psychiatrist, all I could find were elderly gentlemen. I have NO problem with an older physician, but I wanted to find a younger doctor who uses "cutting edge" techniques. I found Dr. Straun and I am SO happy I called him! He gave me a DNA test in order to find out which medicine would work best for me. This has saved me much time, aggravation and expense. Dr. Straun has a kind an amiable manner. Hes intelligent and a consummate physician. I trusted him immediately. While hes candid about my health issues, he is never patronizing. I recommend him whole heartedly! He has a website that I suggest any potential patient visit. He offers several services, including acupuncture. What I also consider important is that I have a good rapport with his staff. Camille is a nurse who is exceptionally kind and understanding. Its always a pleasure to speak with her regarding my appointment, a prescription refill, etc.
