I am a 40yr old working mother and very much needed a refresher after years of sun damage and freckles that began looking like large sun spots instead of pretty freckles. My crows feet were deepening and the texture of my skin just looked worn. Over the last year, I did a few sessions of IPL along with the Vpeel with another Derm and quite frankly the results were subpar for the money I spent. Dr. Nichols recommended the Fraxel Dual laser. She said it has two wavelength settings, 1550 and 1927, which makes it the most versatile skin resurfacing laser shes ever used. The 1550 is used for wrinkles, acne scars, leathery skin, etc. and the 1927 is for sun spots, melasma and freckles. She used the 1927 on me. The procedure was virtually painless (you have topical anesthesia applied an hour before the procedure) with the exception of my forehead which Dr. Nichols got out of the way first. After the procedure, for the first few days I looked like a had a serious tan which turned into a raisin look (all my sun damage) followed by a good amount of skin shedding. After the shedding I had a few minor pimples for a few days due to the post-procedure heavier creams and sunscreens I used afterwards. However, they quickly cleared up after Dr. Nichols said that I could switch to my lighter regular moisturizer and use a toner. By day 6, my skin was looking like awesome, smooth and very clear. I have heard some others refer to Fraxel as an eraser and now I see why! I couldnt be happier that I had the procedure done and I am so glad I went to Dr. Nichols for the procedure. Shes not only great at what she does, but she also is patient and thorough and explains everything to you before and after the procedure. Im looking forward to my next Fraxel with her to address the sunspots I have on my lower legs.

I have been seeing Dr. Kim Nichols for over a year now for Fraxel treatments to my face, along with botox injections and some fillers. Prior to starting my Fraxel treatments I had some acne scarring on my cheeks and some enlarged pores in my inner cheek area, with diligent care, good products and the care and expertise of Dr. Nichols my skin is completly fresh and much smoother. The pore size has drastically decreased and my once troublesome acne scarring is barely an eyesore. One thing that I may say, I know for some people the thought of the possibility of developing hyper pigmentation issues may sway them away from getting a fraxel treatment done, but Dr. Nichols started me off at a lower speed I guess you would say, maybe so I didnt discolor or to see how I reacted from it and on every appointment increased it a little more. She is very knowledgable, and I adore the rest of the staff! I always feel as going to see Dr. Nichols is my "spa day" but with better, more drastic results!!! Also the lip injections that I had done in the past, were very subtle just right for my face structure. Everything done by Dr. Nichols and her staff is very natural and proportional to the rest of your face. Thank you for continuing to keep my beauty as effortless!

I went to see Dr. Nichols after recognizing at 38 I needed to address the various effects of sun damage I was seeing. Fine lines along my forehead , crows feet around my eyes along with sun spots that were becoming darker and larger as the years went on. Since I never had any corrective procedures or even used many products on my skin I was quite hesitant to try anything. Dr. Nichols explained my options understanding that I was new to this and took a conservative approach. I was so happy with the results. Dr. Nichols used enough Botox that refreshed my appearance without looking obvious. With such a natural result, I was so happy to maintain this regime. Each visit Dr. Nichols made adjustments based on my feedback and gravity! All done in such a natural manner that results were only a younger, refreshed appearance and I couldnt be happier. She corrected a few of my sunspots with laser and I am now looking forward to a Fraxel treatment to help with the sun spots that are multiplying in size and quantity. NicholsMDs staff is always friendly professional and work to make me feel comfortable and the office is beautiful. I highly recommend Dr. Nichols you will be happy you decided to go!

After meeting Dr. Kim Nichols during the open house at NicholsMd in Greenwich, I felt she was very knowledgeable, experienced and very approachable - I immediately knew I had to make an appointment for a consultation. Being a "newbie" in the world of chemical peels, fillers, lasers, etc. Dr. Nichols patiently walked me through all my options and made appropriate recommendations based on the specific outcomes I was looking for. I wasnt ready for anything drastic, so we started with a light "Illuminizing" peel and progressed from there...most recently she performed a Clear & Brilliant lazer treatment on me and the results are nothing short of fabulous! I am writing this review as a huge THANK YOU to the NicholsMd Staff. From the moment you walk in the door, Dr. Nichols and her staff make you feel relaxed and at home. The knowledge and expertise each member of Dr. Nichols’ staff has just goes to show how trained each of her employees is on all the different types of procedures the office has to offer. I have been using Skin Ceuticals products that Dr. Nichols recommended to me for about 3 months now and my skin has seriously never looked better. I also just did Coolsculpting on my inner thighs and my results are in-process. During the procedure the staff game me pillows, a latte, and a robe to ensure that I was totally comfortable. I can’t wait to see my results in the next couple of months! I highly recommend NicholsMd to anyone who is looking for a clean, safe, luxurious experience.
