Its a place you generally dont plan on ending up...when your pregnancy isnt going quite right. Its a tough place to go to and I know the uncertainty is enough to make you crazy. Its been 11 years since I was a frequent flyer... 2 ultrasounds a week... High risk, 20 years old and my first baby. I recall a lot of big words being thrown around and being terrified, I also remember how kind everyone was. I had an amazing team and I dont think my son would have made it if I hadnt been under the best care at Yale. They looked at every angle, gave me and my son the best care and our options. It can feel like your world is out of control when you cant get a for certain that you will have a baby that will live... Although I never want to end up in that situation again thats the best place to be. Im happy to report my baby boy is now 11yo. Hes had a tough road 24 surgeries to date but hes just as normal as can be... :)

Not thrilled with this place. Beware of the "Dr" sitting in on your appointment, its just a resident and you are going to be their guinea pig. My tech was rushy and rough with my belly, even jiggling it pretty hard at one point because she was getting frustrated that the baby wouldnt cooperate for "her" pictures. The girl drawing my blood acted as if she had just come back from a funeral. I left there nauseous with a sore stomach from being prodded and pushed on so much. I have another child and never had a bad ultrasound. I had hoped it would have been a happy experience but it wasnt. Wont be scheduling anything here again.

This place is always understaffed, My last 2 visits were horrible!!!! Im pregnant and I was waiting there for almost 2 hrs. for ultra sound. They always say same excuse oh we r understaffed; so Hire more ppl jeez ppl need jobs. lol...They give u $5 coupon IDC about your coupon, its about fixing your mistakes rather making excuses to go to their other location which is ST. Rafaels Hospital like, really???? Poor poor management. Unfortunately, Id have to go there for convenience. I really hope they read these comments and fix their issues.

Ultrasound tech and doctor is great at thier job. But they extremely understaffed, the office needs to hire MORE staff. They book your appointment for a specific time, but your still waiting for nearly and sometimes over an hour. That is highly unacceptable especially for expecting moms, it brings on more stress just waiting and waiting....

Not happy with their care. I didnt have the chance to try to save my twins because they didnt give me weekly scans. When pregnant with identical twins you should be checked regularly. I had a scan at 12 weeks and a follow up at 16 weeks when TTTS was diagnosed. Two days later I lost them.

While the wait for my appointment was longer than I would have liked, the ultrasound technician was wonderful. She was very thorough and kind, took tons of pictures and explained everything throughout the process, which put this first-time mom expecting twins at ease.

Drs are amazing. If your high risk this is the best place for your baby!
