My dogs are old patients of Dr. Fedorichs. I own Vizslas, most of which compete in confirmation and competition obedience. Dr. Fedorich was my vet for 7 years while living in Ct. and I would not trust anyone else with my dogs but him. His compassion, knowledge and guidance was always superior. Since I bred and competed with my dogs and did not just keep them as house pets, he was sensitive enough to work me through a vet regimen that most breeders find vets wont do. His commitment to the medicine and knowledge and his willingness to share that knowledge and spend the time explaining even the most mundane particulars was so appreciated. He cared about my animals as much as I did. What I admired most was that if he did not know something or it was not something within his regular scope of practice he was humble enough to recommend who to consult with to get the best treatment. He saw me thru two deaths, both of which would have been much worse had it not been for him, and he saw me thru one successful breeding. His compassion during my loss and his personal attempt to guide me thru my dogs illnesses sets him far above any other vet I can think of. His facility is state of the art, but his knowledge grows along with it which is very important. Take away the machines and you still have to know how to practice your craft. He is exceptional at his craft in my humble opinion. I would not recommend any other vet in the shoreline area other than Dr. Fedorich.

WONDERFUL PEOPLE! Weve been taking our aging black lab and mini bull terrier for over four years to Dr. Fedorich and his wonderful staff. #1, they take you asap when things are urgent #2, they follow-up to make sure your pet is okay #3 the staff is wonderful! You will love Abigail who goes the extra mile to make you feel that your pet is their priority. Unfortunately our black lab passed, but they did everything in their power to help her miraculously live another 8+ months that she probably wouldnt have with her liver and cancer problems (14 1/2 years!). Bottom line, they truly care about our pets and give them the best possible care. Isnt that what we really want? A+++ to Dr. Fedorich and his staff!

Dr Fedorich and his team have been consistently caring and responsive with my cats. They have nursed more than one cat through some serious health issues, they are always careful to explain options and accommodating of our needs. Big plus is that they have a boarding facility attached to the hospital - that has been helpful to us for taking care of our cats who needed daily meds while we were traveling away from home.

Our chocolate lab received top notch care at Animal Hospital of Old Saybrook. Dr. Fedorich is caring and compassionate and his staff is cheerful and attentive. Rooms are all bright and clean. I recently toured the brand new boarding facility they call the "Inn and Spa" and must say it is also top notch and stands head and shoulder above others Ive seen. Highly recommend.
