Dr. Drugge is only getting one star because zero stars isnt an option. I couldnt possible describe all my issues with this doctor in a single review. It was immediately apparent from my first visit that Dr. Drugges only interest was getting me out of his room as quickly as possible. He told me he couldnt take care of certain issues because it was "the wrong season" and "the weather wasnt right," which is something youd expect to hear from an Amazonian witch doctor not a licensed MD. He had decided what to prescribe me within the first minute of my visit with no consultation whatsoever, but in an act of blatant extortion made me return a second time before he would write the prescription for me. By the second visit he had already forgotten who I was or why he had asked me to come. Despite rushing me out of his office like he had an afternoon appointment at a pay-by-the-hour motel, he found time at checkout to deliver a completely unprompted 15 minute libertarian manifesto. Perhaps if he had put as much thought and time into patient treatment as he did into his tirade on Gary Johnson, he wouldnt be getting a one-star review. After THREEE WEEKS of not hearing from his office, I got a phone call from a mail-order pharmacy which I had never requested nor even heard of. It was only after persistent phone calls to Dr. Drugges office that I finally got an unapologetic excuse which boiled down to sheer laziness and incompetence on their part. It was apparent this office was a fuster cluck from the moment I first stepped inside, but every time I thought it couldnt get worse he found new and creative ways to disappoint me. The only plus side to seeing Dr. Drugge is that I no longer have to wonder what Narcissistic Personality Disorder looks like up close. But trust me, that sideshow isnt worth the price of admission.

I have been a patient of Dr Drugges for regular Melanoma screening for the last decade. He has developed a method to do a comparative analysis of skin blemishes based on regular photographic screening. The weird invention other reviewers have referred to is the booth that you stand in for the photographic scan. In my case this screening has enabled him to detect changes and remove several blemishes before they became cancerous. I agree the process can take some time, but if you are worried about early detection of skin cancer I would highly recommend regular screening by Dr Drugge. As for personality, I have no complaints and have always had very interesting discussions with him about the use of various forms of sensing and imaging technology in the early detection of cancer. Something that he is clearly passionate about.

I have to write a response to an earlier post from A Google User concerning Dr Drugges "dumb invention" and his "major sell job". That dumb invention saved my life by catching a serious melanoma long before the naked eye would have caught it meaning I avoided awful chemo and radiotherapy treatment. His "major sell job" is an attempt to catch problems in his patients while they are still treatable aka saving their lives. There are 3 dumb parties here, the FDA who only approve things developed by the massive drug companies, the dumb insurance companies who would rather pay for cancer treatment than cancer prevention, and the dumb google user who wrote the post. Dr Drugge is an unusual character but in my experience, crazy smart people always are.

This guy has this weird creepy vibe going on. Made me feel kinda weird the whole time I was there. And the worst part is the whole visit, he does a major "sell job" on you. He tries to talk you into using this dumb thing he invented that supposedly screens for skin cancer. But what he wont tell you until you ask him lots of questions, is that it isnt FDA approved or anything. Which means insurance wont cover it. Total scam. Way for him to make money. I could tell because he just wouldnt stop. Kept trying to sell me. If theres one thing I hate, its an aggressive sales person. Those reviews that talk about his invention like its something brilliant, must be from his staff/family/friends.

I will not be going back to Dr. Drugge. I went one time. Please listen to the people who say there is a weird vibe. He spent the entire appointment speaking about my looks. He said many inappropriate things about my attractiveness and I felt extremely uncomfortable. I have never felt that way at any other doctors office. Stay away! Even if he is brilliant ( which I have no opinion either way), there have to be other doctors out there that can deliver excellent medical care without the unsolicited opinions (both good and bad) about your appearance!

If you want an expert opinion and a true diagnosis this is the place to go. The name says it all. He is the best dermatologist Ive ever been to. Not only he is good at what he does but he is also very passionate about the science of dermatology. He is very well educated and has even invented a device that can detect whether the smallest mole is cancerous or not. I was not looking for smiles and pleasantries like the other reviewers on this page. I was looking for an expert who could put my mind at ease regarding a mole.

I have been a patient of Dr. Drugges for about 10 years and my only regret is that I didnt meet him earlier. Because of my skin conditions I have been to many dermatologists, even so-called "the best" but I must say that Dr. Drugge is the most proactive doctor I have ever met, he has even invented machinery for his trade that is not available anywhere else. His patients come from all over the U.S. so I am very lucky that he is local for me. If you need a dermatologist and want the best care possible call Dr. Drugge.

Since I am a Melanoma survivior, Im not sure if Tina M knows anything about this deadly cancer. Dr. Drugge and his FDA APROVED device have been central to my living with cancer. I have had two more "on the way" spots caught by the Melanoscan. If you have any concerns, DR. Drugge is the ONE DOCTOR TO SEE if you have a serious problem with your skin. Sounds to me like Tina M is actually another jealous doctor.

Aside from the long waits and unprofessional staff i was absolutely shocked that Dr. Drugge would refuse to return a phone call after repeated attempts, when I inquired as to why he said he longer wanted me to be his patient. Bring your checkbook as he likes to be paid before he sees you. Its all about money, patient care is the last thing on his mind. That was my personel experience. Stay away!

Nasty attitude from front desk woman , there was also a weird half dead woman walking around the office and to top it off I waited an hour and a half to be seen just to have a rushed through visit for 10 mins that kept being interrupted by his other staff ! Wont be back ! Also noticed that there is a major lack of " diversity " with his staff. Made me very uncomfortable with my clothes off .

Dr Drugge diagnosed a skin issue with a family member that several other doctors didnt have a clue about. We had spent hundreds of dollars of misdiagnosis and mistreatment. He came highly recommended as someone who might be able to figure out what was going on and he diagnosed the issue quickly and treated it competently. He is a very good dermatologist.
