My cat was severely ill... I explained this in my call and hadnt been eating... My problem was compounded as I had an issue where I had to report my credit card lost and did not have access to my account because of this I was limited to going in and seeing this particular vet as a friend of mine allowed me to use his account to authorize the payment. I did everything I could, at least I thought I did, but no matter what I just could not make it in exactly at the time I was supposed to be there. I had 20 different situations happening in a condensed period of time. I really understand that showing up late is serious but so is a life.. I was told by the receptionist that I would be able to still be seen but upon arrival I was handed a paper to go to the emergency veterinary center. She even went on to state that the doctor usually will stay as long as they werent more than 15 minutes late. For some reason this time she just could not..... I could not go anywhere else at this point and as my own stupidity had it I waited for the next appointment that I scheduled for this morning, yet again I ended up being 5 minutes late this time.. I cannot say this with surety but my observation was that there was a conversation that went on before I even walked into the door. I approached the counter and the lady closest to me looked busy and did not respond to me walking in. I then approached the second receptionist who looked nervous... I started to speak to her and the previously mute receptionist not making any eye contact continued looking down and told me that because I was late 5 minutes into my 9:30 appointment I would not be able to be seen until after 11:30. The words by the pixie like receptionist were curt, pointed, and piercing. Today I had to start work at 10:30 and was squeezing every bit of what I had to do into this time frame. There was no way I could be there. I tried to see if there was anyone else I could get to bring him but I couldnt.. I blame myself for not realizing how serious the situation was... My beautiful Anubis died tonight... It was horrible and about that I wont say anymore.. I do not like this office. I was treated callously and with a level of scrutiny that I really dont understand. I want to make sure this post stays on this companies site... A passer by saw me outside after I was rejected at the appointment and told me that they are extremely overpriced and almost take advantage of their customers. She went on to state that her cat had gingivitis and she was quoted a non formalized amount of 1500.00.... I went into this knowing that I was going to pay over 500.00 for his illness or more... What i WOULDNT DO to turn back time now. I blame me for everything but the way I was treated knowing the severity of his issues as they should have known by what was described should have played into this situation. I should have chosen aaa clinic but this was closer and my friend couldnt travel that far as he was doing me a favor, and a very large one.. Anubis was seen at cats unlimited before and the vet that never even saw him at the aaa clinic called me back concerned about him and was giving me advice... They cared ....

Im still feeling sick to my stomach after what they charged me to shave my cat. I went to them for check ups for a few years now and though they seemed on the expensive side I thought anything was worth it for my cat. I love him with all of my heart after all and it was nice to go to a place where he doesnt have to be afraid of any barking noises, as much as I also love dogs. To get to the point, they only give a full shave for a grooming, so they kind of make your cat look like a shaved poodle. This wasnt something I liked personally but I thought if it made my cat comfortable in the summer it would be worth it. What I didnt expect was the price. It was over $100 dollars! They just shaved my cat, his "lion cut" seemed uneven, and I specifically asked them not to do a lions cut. He had hair all over him as I pet him so I had to give him a bath. I just cant believe for their so called "grooming" where they simply shave your cat and clip his nails, they have the nerve to charge over $100 dollars! It was just over $110 actually and there was no one I could talk to. I had no idea. They gave me a chart where worst case is $200 if the cat is difficult or they have to put them to sleep, but usually it is around $30 or so they said. They didnt have to put my cat to sleep, they actually said he was very well behaved, but because they were busy with an operation on another cat, they would come in and out and work on my cat, and I get stuck with that kind of bill because they are under staffed? I cant believe how mislead I was, I paid and I had to walk out of there knowing how taken advantage of I was and I couldnt do anything about it.

I have brought my cats here, my sister has brought her cat here and my best friend has as well. They are the most loving staff, always ready to offer help and has never once made me feel bad about starting with the less expensive options and then continuing from there if need be. My old man had to have almost all of his teeth removed and while there were less expensive places I could have taken him it wasnt really an option for me. I knew that he would be getting the best care at Cats Limited. If you think of your kitty as a family member rather than just a pet then this is the place the bring them. I had a rescue kitten that was much sicker than the rest of the litter, I had to bring him to an emergency place since it was very early in the morning and Cats Limited was not open, unfortunately after trying different things it was apparent that he would not be able to live a quality life, having been on many different medications at only four weeks old, we had to put him down, long story short not only did the caring staff at Cats Limited call to offer their condolences after being informed from the emergency vet they also sent out a card with hand written notes from each of the staff members. Its small, personal things like that that you will get when you take you kitty to Cats Limited. Forming a real relationship with your vet rather than just a doctor/patient one. I highly recommend them to anyone that loves their cat and truly wants the best care for them.

I first visited this practice back in early 2005. My cat was spayed here, had her microchip implanted here, got all her vaccinations here, got her annual checkups here, and had dental cleanings & extractions done here, all over this 10-year timespan. So I have been here many times over the years, and every single time, Ive been treated with courtesy, professionalism, and friendliness, by everybody from the reception desk, to the very knowledgeable and skilled veterinary technicians, to the compassionate veterinarians. The vet who has been my cats caretaker over these years has been the hospitals founder, Dr. Diana Lafer. Shes gone above and beyond the call of duty for me and my cat more times than I can count. As a businessman myself, Ive watched with admiration as her practice has evolved and become better and better over the years. Its clear that they are always striving to improve on what has always been a good operation. She and her hospital are a real asset to this town and the surrounding areas.
