Horrible post surgery experience with Dr. Socas. Went in over 2 weeks after my procedure because I was not even aware that she had done my surgical procedure. No scripts, contact or post surgery care information was left for me post surgery (or even her name!). I understand how things go in a hospital having worked in the medical field for awhile BUT when I did eventually go in to see her she admitted to hearing about my horrible experience and did not apologize once. She rushed me in and out of the room and said at least 3x "thank god I was there to save your life"..well this is 2017, while I am grateful, if it hadnt been you, it would have just been another surgeon getting paid thousands of dollars. She explained the severity of my case to me which made me wonder why I was sent home mere hours after my surgery with no scripts or even a phone call to me or my husband explaining what procedure had left me with several scars on my body. I left the hospital still drugged and with no understanding of what had been done. When I mentioned to the Dr. my complaints she told me that I could have reached out to them...which I couldnt have, because again, I was sent home with no contact information or idea on how to care for myself. I actually found out I did a few things I wasnt supposed to and put myself at risk because I hadnt been informed otherwise. Normally I am not the person to complain however a combination of her horrible bedside manner and the fact that I had to sign for a certified mail letter today stating they could no longer care for me (even though I have clearly stated that it was NOT my intention to receive regular care at this office) has brought me to leave this review...also if you expect someone to sign a paper saying that they have read your privacy statement...you should probably make the statement available to them. However, the office seemed nice and clean enough so theres that.

Knowledgeable doctors but they suck at staying on schedule.. both times Ive been in the lobby for almost an hour before i was taken to the back..
