Posted upon request of our patient: Dear Dr. Redash: I wanted you to know the whole story of what happened before my wife started treatment with you... It was a beautiful spring day last year when I woke up to find a letter sitting on the kitchen counter from my wife. The letter reads as follows: “My darling man I am crying as I write this letter for I feel so ashamed of the way I been acting lately. The rages I’ve been having could be caused by depression so I will ask the doctor on my next visit. Please don’t distance yourself from me any more, for I need you more than ever. I promise you sweetheart I’ll try harder to be a better wife ... the kind that will always love you!” We were newly weds at the time and I thought I knew the woman I just married. Then a few months later is when all hell broke loose. How could the love of my life turn into such a disaster? No one really knows what it’s like to live in total despair until you’ve lived it! I stared at the ceiling so many nights wondering what went wrong with our marriage? I was so embarrassed to tell anyone because everyone thought we were so in love, including me. I had no answers. Being a man I didn’t know which way to turn. I didn’t know a thing about menopause and what my wife was going through. I felt hopeless until Teri made us feel right at home and very comfortable when making our first appointment. During our initial visit you explained to us how menopause can effect women both physically and emotionally. This meeting was encouraging to me since I was blaming my wife for actions she couldn’t control. When test results came back showing there was problems with her hormones, adrenals, and thyroids, I guess you could say she was a mess both physically and emotionally! Our first visit with you made me realize I should have been more supportive during those times when my wife needed me the most. Having the woman of my dreams back made me realize it wouldn’t be possible without your professional help. I Truly believe we would have ended up in divorce if it hadn’t been for you and Teri. I started seeing Dr. Redash 2 years ago for bio identical hormone replacement therapy. He was recommended to me by a friend. After seeing him a few times, I realized that he practiced integrative medicine for numerous issues and is proactive. I decided to ask him about other health concerns that I had such as gastrological issues, which is quite common for women my age (52) I strongly recommend Dr Redash. He isnt your average health care practitioner. He listens to you and focuses on the issues that you have and gets to the root of the problem. Dr Redashs proactive and integrative approach to health care is less expensive in the long run as he takes care of the problem at hand, there is no need to return 6 times a year as with our average health care practitioners. Integrative medicine is much less expensive, it actually works, and is healthy, unlike the synthetic drugs that 80% of our population are on today. His wife Teri is an RN, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to get to know. They are an excellent team. Dr Redash no longer accepts insurance, but as stated above, integrative medicine is much cheaper than non-integrative practices. His fee is minimal compared to other Integrative and Naturopathic practitioners in the area. I highly recommend Dr. Allen Redash. He is an excellent MD. Kathy Anderson

I started seeing Dr. Redash about 6 years ago. He had my hormones straightened out within the first 3 months. He has keep me well for the 6 years that I have bee going to him. My husband has had a weight problem all of his life. He started going to him about a year ago. In one year he lost over 50 pounds and is feeling better than he has in years. And now after 3 months with Dr. Redash and a completely sensible bio-hormonal and vitamin protocol, I no longer have to make the excuse - its just my age!
