I am a long time patient of Dr. Swanson and Im so happy that she is expanding her practice. But Im by far not thrilled with her bringing on Dr. Hradek into her practice. Ive seen him back in 2008 when he was with East Manatee. And the only reason I had to see him was because there was a mishap with my health insurance and I could no longer afford to see Dr. Swanson at that time. At the time I had to quit seeing Dr. Swanson I was having severe Ovarian Cysts and I needed a Laporotomy done to remove them and to have all my scar tissue cleaned up. He said that was not necessary and put me on birth control which I was on anyways and it wasnt helping my issue. So from the time I saw him in July of 2008 until I was able to go back to Dr. Swanson in Dec 2008 I was in constant pain and my cysts never went away or anything. And I had seen him several times along with a couple of his colleagues. And none of them would ever listen to me or even bother to look at my medical records from Dr. Swanson. So for 5 months I sat in pain and agony. And none of them wanted to help me. Dr. Swanson finally did the surgery that I needed in Feb 2009. And to her I thank her for everything that she has done for me and how she has always had my best interest at heart. So as long as Im a patient there I will only see and deal with Dr. Swanson. And I know these are just for reviews. But I wanted to put how I felt with him coming to the practice.

Awful experience! I was about 8 weeks pregnant when I started going to this office. My first appointment was great, I saw Dr. King, the second visit they told me I needed to start paying about $1800 towards my deductible every month. I told them that I was getting a new insurance in January and that my deductible would be less than $1000. My due date was not until April of 2017, the office manager was very rude and told me that if I couldnt afford I need to go see a Dr.Cohen that he takes Medicaid, the fact that an office takes Medicaid does not mean Im eligible for it . She was upset that I knew too much about insurance and wanted to belittle me and make me feel awful. Dr. Swanson then said that she was tired of getting screwed and that she was not a bank or charity. I never been so humiliated in my life, I was not asking for handouts, I was not going to pay them $6000 towards services that were not even performed, especially knowing that my deductible would dramatically drop. Needless to say I lost my baby 2 weeks later, I cant blame them but they did play a major role on adding to my stress. This practice is money drivin, make sure you pay attention to your EOBs and understand what your being charged.

The staff at this office is amazing! During my pregnancy the doctors and nurses were always very helpful and supportive. The doctors were very open to my wishes for a natural birth. They did an excellent job of explaining everything throughout my whole pregnancy and making me feel very comfortable. During my hospital stay I saw Dr. Swanson many times and she was very quick to address any questions or concerns. Because of this I felt very informed and able to make the best decisions for myself and baby. I was even lucky enough to have Tracy as my nurse, which was a huge comfort during my labor! The office staff is also very amazing. They are always welcoming and kind and were very patient when helping me to schedule appointments around my hectic schedule. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a doctor and staff that is knowledgeable, caring, and makes you feel like a part of the family.

Dr. Swanson and Dr. King are amazing. I become a patient with their office when I become pregnant with my first child. They were super supportive of me wanting a natural birth. I am 9 months pregnant with my second and still very happy with them. The nurses are caring and compassionate. Ms. Trece and Ms. Britney always take the time to ask about my family. I dont ever feel rushed or like I am just another patient. The ladies in the office are extremely accommodating when scheduling appointments.

They are professional, compassionate, accommodating, and dedicated to patient satisfaction. My providers have been caring and knowledgeable and truly display 5 star qualities. Heard the DRs here were awesome, made an appt for 11a told to be in at 10:30 for paperwork. Show up at 10:30 and get told I wasnt there 30 mins early so I cant be seen.... Dr might be good but office ladies surely dont have it together so I guess Ill never know. My money will go elsewhere. RIDICULOUS!!!!!
