I tried to get in with this practice after moving from the Raleigh area. When I first called, I had a lapse in insurance due to losing my job. I was waiting on red tape to get new insurance which is very scary when you are pregnant. Biltmore told me to call back when I had the new insurance information and they would not schedule an appointment. When I did call back, they informed me it had been over 6 weeks since I had seen a doctor so they would not accept my care (she actually followed this statement saying they didnt feel comfortable seeing me since it had been more than 6 weeks since I had seen a doctor.) At this point they had insurance information and all medical records showing that my pregnancy was normal and healthy. Imagine how I feel having been unable to see a doctor during that time while I am pregnant! "Uncomfortable" is not quite how I would describe it. :-( How callus of this woman; I wouldnt have gone that long if they would have accepted me as a patient earlier and scheduled my appointment already. She did not even ask why it had been so long; she spoke to me as if I was negligent. I should have called another OB/GYN at the first conversation. Frankly, Im glad I didnt get the chance to get established with this group; now I know it is not the kind of practice Id choose.

I was very satisfied with the care provided by the staff at Biltmore OB-Gyn. Throughout the course of my pregnancy, I was able to meet each doctor and was pleased not only with their professionalism and experience, but also with their bedside manner. I felt comfortable and remained confident in the care both myself and my unborn child were receiving throughout the course of the pregnancy. My primary physician was Dr. Garbarino and I can not speak highly enough of her! I hope I am still living in the Asheville area for my next pregnancy, because I completely trust the staff at this practice. This was my first pregnancy and I highly recommend Biltmore OB-Gyn.

I was not happy with my first visit to the practice. Was told to come at 8:30 and was there on time- at 9:15 I had still not been seen- was then told " we always ask you to come 30 minutes early the first time to fill out paperwork your actual appointment was set for 9". (The paperwork took 5 minutes.) At 9:25 I asked about rescheduling, was assured Dr. was ready for me. Saw the Dr at 9:35..... as a working woman I would appreciate some respect for my time and accurate information about exactly when my appointment really is!

I sincerely appreciate the care and concern for my health given by Dr. Garbarino and her nurse, Tammy. It is refreshing to see a doctor that actually schedules time to speak with me and answer my questions. Its also nice to speak with the same nurses who know me whenever Ive had a medical problem, and notify me with lab results whether the results are good or bad. I feel safe in their hands. This is a fantastic office!

I highly recommend Biltmore Ob-Gyn. Wait time is always minimal. The staff is friendly. I was able to see all of the doctors during the course of my pregnancy. All of the doctors are wonderful!! They are always able to see you if needed and return calls quickly. As my delivery time got closer each doctor I saw reviewed my birth plan with me and my husband. This is a wonderful practice.

Was having issues- heavy heavy bleeding especially during intercourse and was concerned. They brushed me out of the office- then a few weeks after the appointment I find I was pregnant the whole time. I would think that a pregnancy test could have been a routine check.

Best OBGYN practice around. Compassionate care. Next to no wait times past the 1st appointment. Love that it is all women. Very helpful and the drs actually explain things in regular people terms. I recommend them to everyone.
