Ive been going to Dr. Shemesh and Dr. Chris for the last 2 years and it has only been with their help that I have finally gotten my body and mind back on track after thyroid surgery. I am extremely grateful for their time and care during this time. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with their front office. Throughout 2 years, I have rarely received any bills notifying me of my current balance. Even as I still go into the office every other week, the office hadnt notified me how high the balance was until September of 2016 and which point I told them I have not been receiving any bills - I pay $50-200 every time I receive one. In September (my first notification of my high bill) I paid $50, then I paid $100 again on my next visit 2 weeks later. This last week, I received a notification from a collection agency that my bill needed to be paid in full REGARDLESS of the fact Ive been paying the last 2 months what I could. When I talked to their billing manager, Sherry, she was extremely rude when I continued to ask why this happened as I dont believe its legal to send a balance to collections when a person is proactively paying. I also wanted to make sure this would not affect my credit as Im 27 years old and have never made a late payment in my life. I did end up paying the balance in full to avoid issues as it was clear Sherry did not want to listen to the fact that Ive complained SEVERAL times that bills were not being sent out. Had I received my balance earlier in the year, I would have made payments even earlier (it would have saved me money at this point anyway to do it that way). I did try to get a direct email for Dr. Shemesh to relay this message but was told I can only email the general office manager, unfortunately. I am strongly considering changing doctors due to my treatment by their staff despite the amazing care I received from the doctors. You are only as good as your customer service, unfortunately.

Dr shemesh is an amazing, amazing doctor. He definately takes his time with each of his patients. I also take my daughters to him. He listens to you and all of your concerns. He looks for the cause of the problem, and treats it from its root, taking the body as a whole, not as different parts that are not related to each other. I had crónic health issues for many , many years. I spent a lot of time, money and suffering going to different kinds of doctors to find relief. I went to conventional doctors with great reputation, homeopathic doctors, anyone who I thought it could help, unfortunately with no luck. Then, I moved from NY to Tampa almost four years ago and found Dr Shemesh. I was so fortunate. Everything he has recommended has worked out wonderful on me. It was very amazing to me, that with his advice on diet, and some key supplements for each of my issues, I found total relief. And, by the way, these are great quality supplements. One of my issues was chronic urinary track infections. Antibiotics didnt work on me anymore. Actually, from taking so many antibiotics, it caused other chronic deasese, rheumatoid arthritis, which, I also have on remission thanks to dr Shemesh. I usually dont write reviews, but if it can be of help to anyone, I just wanted to let other people know what a great Dr, Dr. Ron Shemesh is. And like everything, you have to be ready to follow his advice. Make big changes in diet, exercise, and positive thinking, but it definitely is all for the best! By the way, everyone at his office is very friendly and helpful.

Had a medication management appt. today. I arrived on time and was told my appt. was rescheduled for a month from today.They stated on 6/8 they called me and reshed. IT NEVER HAPPENED. I showed the staff my phone WITH ZERO CALLS FROM MBSC. The office manager was rude and tried to throw me out of the office. She said I was shouting (I was upset, but never shouting) The NP was out for family reasons-NO PROBLEM, but why was I not notified. I NEVER received an apology just"the date is on our calendar" Very poor patient services and THEY DONT TREAT REAL ILLNESSES. THIS APPT. COST ME OVER $200 IN A MISSED OFFICE VISIT AND DRIVING TIME. 1) NO APOLOGY 2) NO EVIDENCE OF A SUPPOSED CALL FROM MBSC ON 6/8 3) I WOULD NEVER MAKE AN APPT A MONTH AWAY WHEN MY RX IS OUT 4) MANAGER SAYS THEY "DO NOT RX CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES" (ZOLOFT) A controlled substance is generally a drug or chemical whose manufacture, possession, or use is regulated by a government, such as illicitly used drugs or prescription medications that are designated a Controlled Drug. SO I HAVE LAB TESTS SHOWING MEDICAL INTERVENTION NEEDED AND PER THE MANAGER THEY DONT DO CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES TO TREAT MEDICAL ISSUES. THEY WILL BE HAPPY TO ADD A BUNCH OF HERBS WHICH WERE NEVER DISCUSSED TO THE TAB WHEN YOU ARE CHECKING OUT. MICHELLE WAS VERY GOOD, DR. IS CREEPY AND MANAGER NEEDS ANGER MANAGEMENT COURSE. DR. I had a very bad experience at this office. The office manager was very rude. I was told to undress and I waited naked in a gown for 45 minutes. When the doctor finally came in, he barely spent any time with me and pushed progesterone creme on me and then left. It made my symptoms worse. I then learned about Ray Peats work and realized these "holistic practitioners" are anything but holistic. They treat symptoms, not the body just like a regular doctor but using supplements, and they do so in a way similar to throwing darts blindly at a dart board. Florida is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to good health practitioners so we see these very mediocre doctors getting five stars. Save yourself the visit and Ill tell you whats wrong with you: You have adrenal fatigue, Lymes, mercury toxicity, or food allergies.

Im officially done with this office and switching primaries. I have been made to wait over an hour for every doctor appointment that was not with the nutritionist. The front office staff is absolutely incompetent and disrespectful. Getting the simplest paperwork out of them is like pulling teeth and they act like they have never heard of FSA or any of the paperwork that goes with it. When I ask when to expect something back they utterly shocked that we as customers have expectations and timelines. Not to mention that even getting through on the phone is practically impossible. Even tried emailing, no response. If you have tons of time, and tons of money, this is your place. Its sad because the front office staff is really ruining in for some good docs, but Im just too busy to mess with them anymore.

The review is for the office and NOT the doctor. The front office is terrible to say the least. Called to fix an appointment for the first time and was able to get through to the receptionist Barbara after several attempts. She was extremely rude and behaved as if she was doing me a favour by answering my questions related to the doctor and practice. When she didnt have the answer for a question, she passed the phone to her collegue who was only slightly better. Finally she put me on hold to look up the appointments and didnt get back and finally I had to hang up.
