I cant describe how amazing dr Patel is. Before I meet him I had 3 miscarriage my first miscarriage was 13 week 2nd was 16 weeks 3rd was 17 weeks as you can imagine I was just heartbroken and devastated my husband and I give up from having a baby. Anyways on my 3rd miscarriage I when to the emergency room the first time I meet dr Patel was the day I was having my 3rd miscarriage I was crying he told me you gonna be ok there are plenty of time I will get pregnant again and have lot of babies. His just so kind sympathetic. I cant describe it but right after I talk to him I feel so much better. He was like angel.long story short dr Patel ask me is this your first time having miscarriage and I was like no 3times and he was like nobody ever told u the reason u was miscarriage. He told me I have a incompetent cervix I ask him what was that he told me is when ur cervix is weak can not carry a baby full term without getting a cerglage at 15week of pregnancy. There was my diagnostics. I got pregnant again 9months later I call dr. Patel office set appt. he save my babies I have 3 beautiful baby 5year 4 year and 2year full term he delivered all of them . Dr. Niraj Patel was the Dr. For our first son. He is the best Dr. I have ever dealt with in my life. I I moved from NH where your family Dr. is there for you no matter what. My wife was having some stomach pain at 8:44 tonight and Dr. Patel gave us his cell phone number for any issues and told us to call him with any questions through out the pregnancy of our second child. I called him and he answered on the first ring he wanted to talk to my wife immediately and assured us that everything was ok and to call him if she experienced any of the following symptoms. This is the way it should be and I wouldnt trust my wife or future baby to anyone else no matter what. This is a true professional who truely cares about us and our well being. Thank you Dr. Patel for everything we love you and trust you with our family.

Best doctor Ive ever seen in my life. He is caring and unlike any physician Ive ever met. Doctors are very different nowadays so when you find a good one, its like you struck gold and thats the way I feel about this physician. He delivered some tough news to me (he had to inform me that I had miscarried). He did it in a way that was compassionate, sympathetic, and caring. He took the time to console me and encourage me by saying he knew there would be many more children in my future. It says alot that he went out on a limb like that. He also followed up to see how I was doing. Very very good doctor. He also diagnosed me with something none of the other obs caught until I saw him. He is what a 5 star doctor looks like.

Dr Patel is amazing and helped me feel very relaxed during my visits. However, I have to give his practice a poor review because his staff is terrible. Under multiple occasions they have not fully informed me of costs of procedures and medications so I have received multiple bills in the mail that I was not expecting (after paying in person). Also, when talking to the nurse on the phone about concerns I had about a procedure she completely cut me off and made me feel like my concerns were not important enough for her to address and that I was wasting her time. Its a shame that Dr Patel has such awful staff because he actually is a really good doctor that seems like he truly cares about his patients and womens health.

After two visits in August for bleeding I was sent home without benefit of either Pap Smear or biopsy to find the root of the problem I ended up in the ER at St. Joes north 4 days later and it was discovered that I had suspected Cervical Cancer. This was confirmed on September 8th by a CT scan. I will have surgery tomorrow. Why did this doctor not take the time to seek a cause....I am 81 years old and intend to live many more years.....I would hate to think he just let it go because of my age or worse yet his lack of medical knowledge. He may be great delivering babies not so much on diagnosis.

I was beyond impressed with my experience. Had surgery on December 16th. My surgery was successful and my recovery is going WELL. Everything he shared with me beforehand is what is occurring now. Im very pleased with my experience. My only dislike is TAKING IT SLOW and being off until January 16th. Dr. Patel was caring from day one and I dont regret the choice I made. Best gynecologist and surgeon in Tampa Bay. I appreciate Florida Medical Clinic and Florida Hospital for the friendly and professional staff. I have to rate you guys

Dr Patel takes the time to make you feel like you are his only patient. He personally calls you if anything is out of the ordinary. He explains everything thoroughly. He has been the only doctor to control and teach me about my Thyroid which prevented miscarriages. Also, he listens and is proactive about issues that I may not have noticed. Not only have I followed Dr Patel around for 3 years, he’s become someone I trust with my life and my baby’s life.

Hands down the best doctor I have had if he could be my PCP I would keep him. Im 7 months pregnant and he has been absolutely amazing, he is so down to earth and explains everything to the T. I love that he asks for my husband by his name and his nurse is also and angel I love them both. I wish I knew of him for my first pregnancy. Thank you Dr.patel you are seriously the best.

Wow, Dr. Patel was a breath of fresh air. He was so friendly, down to earth, just plain personable. It is rare to find these traits in physicians these days. You can certainly sense the passion he feels for his work. I highly recommend.
