I just want to let the public know a few things about this office. I work in the healthcare field myself, and working in a hospital, treating our patients with respect and dignity is always #1. The doctors here were great, and I really dont believe they are aware of how their staff treats their patients and how they talk to them. I just recently had a baby, even though I had great insurance I still paid A LOT out of pocket to this business. I had to reschedule my appt once before while I was pregnant but I didnt do it at the last minute, but apparently this place doesnt tolerate the need to reschedule appointments at all! They like to schedule your appointment 3 months in advance, so by the time your appointment comes around, heaven forbid you forget. I had to cancel my appointment the other day, because I was called into work. I will admit it was on the day of my appointment, but I had forgotten all about the appointment and had remembered that morning. I waited until 8 a.m. when they opened called and spoke to a receptionist. My appt being at 9:30 a.m. I told her I needed to reschedule that I had been called into work. She says to me, so your rescheduling because you were called into work? Didnt you know you were going to be called into work? I told her no it was last minute that I was even called in. She said she would charge me a 75.00 no show fee, so I asked her how could she charge me a no show when I was calling an hour and a half ahead to tell her I wont be there. So she said she would reschedule for me to be aware of the charge. I then told her that if I would be charged 75.00 that I couldnt afford to reschedule my appointment because that would break me. She then talked to her supervisor, who said they would waive the fee this time, but that it couldnt happen again because they are an extremely busy office who cant accept patients who reschedule their appointments! Then she also informed me she would discharge me from the physicians office if it happened again. So I asked to make sure I understood her that I could no longer come to this office that I have went to for 4 years, if I need to reschedule again? She said yes. I told her I wasnt for sure if I even wanted to reschedule an appointment with such a busy office, because they really dont sound like they need my business anyway. So I thought things through, and was going to call today to speak to Dr. Leibensperger myself and let her know how her staff talks to her patients, and I was suprised by a certified letter in the mail saying I was no longer allowed to come to this office and they felt my needs would be better off seen by another physician. I also would like to add this office and business is more worried about money then they are their patients or their patients needs. For example, I had been on the same birth control for 3 years up until I got pregnant, after having my baby they gave me enough for 3 months, but wanted me to come back to make sure I liked the birth control, so pretty much to get another office visit out of me. Which was this last appt I had to reschedule. Most drs office would have wrote a year prescription from the beginning, but this place is ALL about the money and the office visits! The girls at the front desk are also very "high maintenance" and snotty to say the least. I wish this business luck in the future, but Im sure they will treat enough of their patients the way they have treated me and eventually they will need patients because they will have none! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I went there for 4 years and they discharged me from their office like I was nothing!

WORST OBGYN EVERRR! BEWAREEE!! DO NOT GO! THEY WILL PRESCRIBE YOU MEDICATION WHEN YOU DONT NEED IT!!! They had prescribed me vaginal medication that I had to take 5 days in a row. Since she told me she was 90% sure I had the issue and sent it to the pharmacy I trusted her. MY MISTAKE!!! A couple days after the treatment was over I received a phone call with a follow up on the other things we had discussed. When I asked about the bacterial issue, the lady (who was rude) told me that it came up negative. So I asked her, well if it came back negative & I was prescribed medication, then why did I not receive a phone call stating HEY, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY & DO NOT TAKE THE MEDICATION, YOU CAME BACK NEGATIVE!! She rudely told me that I received an automated phone call. I told her I clearly wasnt able to answer since I have a DAY JOB but how come an actual person from the office didnt attempt to call me and leave a voicemail stating DO NOT PURCHASE NOR TAKE! So now I spent all this money on medication and then took it for 5 DAYS IN A ROW to then get told days after that I was Negative !?!?!?!?! So I asked to speak with the Office Manager , KRISTEN (Also Rude), and told her my issue... She told me she was sorry and that there wasnt anything she can do... So I was like ummm ok, well how do you find this MORALLY OK to be prescribed a medication when you dont even need it and not even give your patient, who had trusted you!, a curtsy phone call?? All she kept saying was that "the only time the doctor prescribes something is when they a sure the patient has an issue". I said well I am living, breathing, walking proof that I did not need this and no one could of called me to say otherwise. And I will admit, at this point I was getting a little loud because I think this is Morally F****D up! She tells me not to get loud, So I state "oh, Im sorry that im upset because I trusted you when you told me something was wrong and had me take vaginal medication for 5 days in a ROW when NOTHING WAS EVEN WRONG WITH ME! You know, spending $60 on medication is a lot, but thats not what i cared the most about, I care a lot about what goes inside my body and that fact that i took medication for 5 days straight when I didnt even need to and I couldnt get a curtsy call?? HOW IS THIS MORALLY OK???" She responded with "theres nothing I can do for you". So then I stated " So its OK for you guys to go around prescribing people medication without even knowing what the actual issue is, WOW." I am just so disappointed and very upset that they can do this morally when you give them you trust. I WILL NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN & I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER

I agree with everything posted here. I have been with this office for I think almost 10 years. I used to live in the area, however between college and moving to Tampa for a job I travel an hour just to continue to go to the office I am used to. I have had multiple issues with the front office staff in the time I have been going there. One particular time I was driving for an appointment from Tampa and going through traffic I knew I would be a couple minutes late. I called first and the girl I talked to said it was fine as long as I wasnt too late. I ended up getting there 10 minutes late and walked in to be very rudely told that I lost my appointment and would still have to pay a $75 fee. I was so furious after rushing to get all the way there, missing a day of work and now to be told I have to pay money to be canceled from my appointment for being 10 minutes late. I burst into tears and told the girl that I needed to speak with her boss immediately. She proceeded to send an instant message to the Nurse Practitioner to give her the option if she would like to still see me. I guess she agreed because I still had my appointment after being treated so awful up front. In general it seems like the girls in the front are very snippy and snooty about everything. I sometimes wondered if they hired these kind of people on purpose because all of them are like that and I couldnt understand how they found that many snooty girls from a small town area like springhill. Although I have continued to go there because I feel the actual physicians are good, I do worry about the professionalism of the rest of the staff even as far as the handling of my file and the ease of appointment. I really worry if it is even worth it...
