I went to this office about a year ago, and was totally turned off by Dr.Sartell. He is an older man and seems to have the old world mentality about women that, you know, we know nothing. I tried to discuss my acne issues with him and he was very flippant. Wrote me a script for Tetracycline, Clindamycin gel and Retin-a, threw his rX pad casually towards his nurse and walked out of the room. I was somewhat shocked by the arrogance oozing off the man. He did not take any time or.. care to talk to me. He looked at my face for a minute, wrote the script and left. The appointment probably lasted 5 minutes, quite literally. After taking the tetracycline for a few months, with no other changes in habits (aside from actually going to the gym more and improving my eating habits), I started packing on weight. I was 20 at the time, and thought this odd. I made an appointment with him to talk about it and he dismissed my concerns so casually even though I have found research online linking tetracycline with random weight gain. Dismayed, I had given up on my acne treatment and simply continued using the Clindamycin gel and Retin-A. A year later, I still have constant acne with no real change based on his treatment aside from being 30lbs heavier. I am going back to this office ONLY because it is one of the few offices near me that accepts my insurance and that they have several other doctors on staff. I will review that Doctor after my appointment. I asked one of the receptionists for whichever doctor they thought was most personable since none at this office have glowing reviews consistantly here on the web. The receptionist herself said to me, "Yeah, the guy you HAD is arrogant as hell." So.. if that says anything, then yeah. We will see what happens with Dr.Dubner.

NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! Dr. Saleeby did a "MOES" procedure. He took two passes and spent less than a total of five minutes with me. He left me with a 3/4 inch gash in my face the size of a half dollar for what were pimple sized spots. He failed to communicate with me at all about how much or why he had to cut so much despite the fact that I was awake the whole time. If not for an excellent plastic surgeon I believe I would have been permanently disfigured. BEWARE!!!

This place has come a long way from 4 years ago when I last visited. The wait time was nearly non-existent (showed up twenty minutes early, saw the doctor ten minutes later) and the staff was courteous and helpful. The doctor was easy to talk to and it seemed as though he wanted to make sure that I left happy with my treatment.

They are only interested in you when you are being treated in the office and they are taking your/your insurance companys money. If you need to call for advice and/or help in any matter you are completely ignored. I do NOT recommend this practice.

I went to Dermatology Consultants of South Florida in Sunrise and my experience was horrible. I went to this hospital for a wart in my foot and the doctor (Dr Kimberly Hull) just applied some liquid nitrogen and billed me as surgery for $200.

I am very happy with Dr. Barbara Goldstein. She is a wonderful doctor & shows true compassion with my daughter. She is a very nice & down to earth person that demonstrates how she honestly cares about her patients. I highly recommend her.

Sarkell was very gruff, if not condescending. Notice I did not use the prefix Dr. I will use a different doctor at this location. Or try another doctor some place else.
