This is an update from our review 2 years ago. Our experiences and opinions of and about Dr. Yani only get better. Dr. Yani goes above and beyond, time and time again, for my husband and me...and has provided both of us with an optimal blend of dental science/practicality/function with a great eye for aesthetics over the last 3 years. She is truly a talented and caring dental artist. One of us has just finished a 2 year course of Invisalign braces and whitening, addressing a bite issue whose treatment was long overdue. The result was over-the-top perfection. The other of us has been delaying replacing five 35-year-old upper front crowns for way too long. These things are usually not an adventure to look forward to. Dr. Yani not only made the process as pain and angst-free as possible, but gave me the type of smile I wish I had not waited so long to get. (Im a former NY TV and radio talent and extremely discerning. My new crowns not only enhanced how I look, but improved my bite.) Finally, Dr. Yani allows ample time for patient appointments and has given us the kind of attention we wish wed had from previous dental professionals. When youre in her chair, you truly feel like youre the only one. This is an extremely caring and professional office. We have recommended her practice to friends and associates — and definitely will continue to do so. -------- Our initial experience with Dr. McConnell was superb. She and her team not only made us feel extremely well cared for, but actually had genuine interest in our dental health and look. They also discovered some issues that our previous dentist had missed. They made suggestions, but did not push. One of us is going to commit to Invisalign braces and I feel confident that I will have Dr. McConnell replace some of my crowns when the timing is right for me. We found this office by doing internet research - and it paid off nicely.

I have lived in Fort Lauderdale for over 2 years now and have anxiety when it comes to going to the Dentist. I have had the same dentist all my life so I was very nervous finding a new one here, which is why I left it so long without going. I found Dr. Yani after searching Yelp and completely agree with all of her wonderful reviews! Everyone in her office is extremely kind and welcoming, Ashley is so nice and helpful over the phone and in person. Her assistant Jess and dental hygienist Marcia are very knowledgeable and most importantly to me, gentle as well as thorough. I left my first teeth cleaning feeling clean and at ease. I also had to go back to get two of my old fillings fixed and they were able to fit me in the next morning with Dr. Yani. I have never had a filling or anything of that nature, done without numbing with a needle. Dr. Yani was able to fix my fillings with only a topical gel which was amazing because I left the office without a completely numb left side (where you normally end up not being able to eat or drink without drooling or chewing your own cheek without knowing). I also liked that Dr. Yani informs you of non medicinal items that help repair and maintain your mouth and body health but doesnt try to sell you anything and only does it for the patients well-being. You can tell that this office cares about their patients and isnt out there to rip anyone off. I can say without a doubt that I have found my new dentist and will be sending my husband there too! I have always had trust issues with going to the dentist and who doesnt. BUT..... this might be one the greatest Dentist Offices I have been to. I scheduled my new patient appointment and they had me scheduled a week later (by choice). Not to mention they were able to schedule a cleaning the same day (also by choice). The hygienists are awesome and Dr. Yani is the friendliest and happiest person; non stop smile. They make you feel comfortable and not to mention the office smells fantastic!!! Now lets talk the front desk. I went in today to discuss billing and Insurance stuff regarding my normal cleaning and check up, and not to get into specifics (dental insurance sucks), what they did was beyond what I imagined when I walked through the door. I didnt need/expect them to do what they did but man it definitely brightened up my Tuesday. Truth be told, unlike some other front desk people in the medical fields, the ones at Dr. Yanis Office actually have personality and talk to you like a human rather than another number they recite the daily script to and go through the motions. I can honestly say they are in this game for the right reasons and that is to provide 5 star care for their patients. They have gained a long time patient; 5/5 for the experience.

There are many dentists that call themselves "holistic" but dont know the true meaning of what that means. Dr. Yani is as holistic as they come.. She uses and recommends all natural products free of mercury and flouride.. There are essential oil diffusers all over the office.. And they even sell a completely natural mouth wash made out of essential oils and other herbs. The customer service was incredible, the entire staff was very friendly and non judgemental. Dr. Yani herself proves to be very educative in the holistic dentistry field and she makes sure to relay all her knowledge to her patients. They dont push services on you - on the other hand - she recommends what you should have and gives a thorough explanation why. Unlike other dentists who just give you a list of things you must have done and walk away. As someone who is not very trust worthy of those in the health / medical field, i walked out of that office knowing that MY best interest was at hand and not my wallet. THANK YOU DR. YANI AND THE REST OF THE STAFF.

Dr Yani is simply one of the best dentist in Ft Lauderdale, and that goes equally as much for her staff. The dentist experience should be about people and this office continues to prove what it feels like to be treated with care and genuine interest about me and my dental needs. Like always I got right in on time, the procedure (2 cavities filled) started right away. The doctor is friendly competent and thorough with her approach. I cant see myself ever going anywhere else. Interestingly when I talk to other people while Im there they say the same thing. This is a real find and I cant imagine any experience anywhere coming close to the warm and inviting feeling you get while you are here. These are people you can trust and will take care of you like family. Thanks Dr Yani and team!!!

I warmly recommend this 5 star holistic dental office! Great overall experience and defitenely the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr Yani and team are welcoming, friendly, caring, attentive to your needs and knowledgeable. It has to be said, there is a cosy atmosphere in this dental practice as well as good vibes. The office is clean, with the latest dental machinery equipment. I had my teeth cleansed (1 hour and very thorough!), and my mercury fillings removed. I must say I was very impressed with the whole procedure and.... I am very happy with the results. Dr Yani is efficient, yet kind and gentle, precise and pays a great attention to detail. To all of the team: thank you so much for taking good care of me! I will be back!
