I called ahead of time to ask if I was sending the correct paperwork for a name change. I had the original court order, but it was not certified. The gentleman told me that as long as it was the original, it would be fine. It wasnt fine. They sent me a letter asking for a certified copy. They did not return my original. I called them and requested my original back as it was no good to them anyway. The lady I spoke to repeatedly interrupted me. When I very politely asked her to stop, she hung up on me. Very unprofessional!

This is the state agency where they are supposed to deliver birth certificate. After requesting a copy of my birth certificate, (which they managed to misspelled: good job guys!!!!) I had to ship back the misspelled certificate (at my own expenses) and it took them and additional 48:00 to send me back the correct version. Ahhh, the joy of administration.

Driving down from Tennessee, called yesterday and they said theyd be open. Waited in parking lot until 8 am and theyre closed! Every time I call person on other end tells me something different, so I wanted to file the paperwork in person!!
