At 23 weeks pregnant, Dr. Hearing "resigned" as my doctor because I missed one prenatal visit. This was the first and only appointment I ever missed during three years under her care. The "resignation letter" stated that I did not return numerous phone calls to reschedule. I did, in fact, call and reschedule, but it was not until the following week because I was out of town with my husband. I explained this to her husband (the office manager) and asked him if she would reconsider seeing me through this pregnancy. His flippant response? "That ship has sailed." Because of my advanced maternal age and history of miscarriages, I could not believe that she would so easily dismiss me as a patient. Any doctor who abandons a high risk, pregnant patient halfway through her pregnancy for missing one appointment, refuses to forgive said patients apology, and then flags patient as "non-compliant" to other doctors thus preventing the needed prenatal care, should not be allowed to practice obstricistics. Regretably, I referred two of my friends to her -- both of which have since left her practice for different reasons. One of these friends was overcharged $800. She paid the money upfront, and when her insurance company informed her it had already remitted payment for these services, she unsuccessfully tried to get a refund from Hearings office. Buyer beware!

After seeing Dr Hearing for what would have been 10 years, a myomectomy and two babies to all of which I paid cash in full, she declined me prenatal care due to the fact that I had been on contract in Colorado during the first part of my pregnancy. I called her office from Colorado to explain months before expected return to Florida and got no official reply until I actually arrived home to be told that I would need to be paid in full within one month a total of $4500 (ENTIRE COST BEGINNING TO END PREGANCY AND C SECTION RATE) and my pending health care insurance at the new job would have no matter because I would have to already see her before X weeks pregnant oh and btw that had to be within that very week bc Dr Hearing was planning to be on vacation and I would surpass the "allowed" weeks pregnant to receive care from her if I wait so we can schedule you Wednesday but make sure you plan on paying at least $2250 at that appointment. Needless to say I was disgusted and continue to be disappointed about the lack of respect, loyalty, and compassion.

Had an annual exam scheduled, and on the day, mother nature occurred, to which they said, "No problem! Nothing you can do about it! Well book you out another 2 months!" to which I did. The day before my next appointment, I was drugged downtown and ended up in the ER in the hospital for the whole next day. My phone, keys, wallet, everything was stolen, so I missed my appointment. A week later, I received a bill for TWO missed appointments. I called the billing center and upon explaining my situation and offerring to bring in hospital records to prove that I wasnt simply "skipping my appointent," that it was an emergency, the man responsded, "Well, in the future, its not Doctor Hearings responsibility to keep track of your appointments." EXCUSE ME?! And still charged me the fees. Never ever again will I step into this office. Worst staff of an doctor Ive ever seen.

Dr. Hearing is a true professional, Ive been seeing her since 1996 and have never waited for than a few minutes for an appointment. I delivered two babies while in her care. Dr. Hearing worked with me because I wanted un-medicated experiences and used hypnosis for childbirth. She allowed me to manage my births (which were both beautiful) and encouraged and supported me throughout both pregnancies. She is very experienced and has a calm bedside manner. I recommend Dr. Hearing to anyone looking for an OBGYN in Jupiter.

Dr. Hearing is a wonderful OBGYN. She is always on time, very professional but also personable. She takes the time to listen to all my concerns and answers all my questions. I highly recommend her! The office is beautiful and spa like, her staff are so friendly. Liz, the nurse, is as sweet as can be. Im so glad I found them.
