Dr. Tara Salomon took me in 5 years ago after an hysterectomy that was not performed properly. Although is known that no doctor will try to "fix" what another did/did not do on you, she actually did. She listened to what I have to say and tried her best to help me, but surgery was the best option. Before going into the surgery, Dr. Salomon explained to me the pro and cons and what to expect. Once she operated, all the warnings took place. I bled for a month (as I did after my first surgery). Dr. Salomon saw me every 48 hrs. to check me and change all the bandages that needed to be changed. She called me from her personal phone the days I would not see her, just to find out how I felt. She actually DID NOT HAVE TO DO IT (as my first surgeon did). She did not need to call of check on me. She did not have to take me on a Saturday and she did not have to give me any pills to calm me down as my first surgeon did when I told him that I was not feeling myself (he did not take the time to explain to me the hormonal imbalance after a hysterectomy). Dr. Salomon treated me as a friend, not as a patient. There was no need to tiptoe around me. Dr. Salomon knew I did not need to feel patronized. She knew I needed help and she gave it to me in the best form she could... applying her knowledge and getting me back to health. Last year a mammogram came in suspicious ad I received a call from Dr. Salomons office to let me know to get another test asap. I and went back to my breast surgeon but unfortunately he was not taking my insurance anymore. I called Dr. Salomons office to ask if they knew someone who can they recommend. Within 10 minutes I got an email from Dr. Salomon herself, recommending me one of the best breast surgeons in town. I could never thank her enough and writing about my experience so far, I find it best fitting. Would I recommend Dr. Salomon? Only if you want the straightforward answer and the best approach; absolutely. If you need to be treated like a princess, I would say Dr. Salomon will not be the best match for you. We are all adults and there are not lollipops in her office. Just people that know what they do and want the best for you.

I have been going to Tara for about 4 yrs now. She did Novasure procedure on me and I cant be happier. I had horrific periods and no doctor would take their time to figure out what was wrong but just give me BC. Night and day with this procedure and life changing. She has also taken time to help me with other issues I have had and have run tests on me that no other doctor would due to not caring in my opinion. I dont even live in Florida anymore and havent for 3 years but still book my yearly with her when visiting family for the holidays and continue to do so. Yes she is busy, she is very proactive but do not mistake that for not being listened to. It is also up to the patient to ask questions and demand answers with ANY doctor you go to. duh...

Thank goodness I found Dr. Tara...I was feeling awful, going thru menopause. Then my cousin told me about Dr. Tara, and I went for the hormone replacement cream she has specially made (at your compounding pharmacy) and it was a lifesaver! Then I found out I also had an extreme Vitamin D deficiency! (that was why my legs were hurting for almost a year???) With all the sun in Florida, I was still deficient and needed a prescription!!! Who knew? She did, that is what I call caring about your patient! She also is very active giving out needed information on weight loss, gluten intolerance, and general issues pertaining to women. I just love her!!!

Cannot BELIEVE this is a WOMAN Doctor. Does she call her patients struggling with their weight "porkers" - I cant imagine how awkward this is going to be for this clinics heavy patients - to know what their Doctor REALLY THINKS. Disgusting. Sounds like she just wants her name in the media. So glad MY ob/gyn worked WITH me during my pregancy instead of against me. This is truly awful. Does she only accept svelte patients? Make them sign an agreement to be thin and beautiful inorder to reflect favorably on the clinic? THIS Dr is the true pig.

This was my first time coming here, I waited about two months for my appointment. The day I show up in the lot two patient tells us to not bother bc the Dr. didnt show up, and that its not the first time. Another patient came in for a surgical procedure and said it was the 3rd time they rescheduled her. The staff was sweet but apparently its usual of her to just not show up and update her staff until last minute. Extremely unprofessional, I lost a day of work and will be going to another gynecologist.

I moved here three years ago, and spent a great deal of time looking for the right doctors. I have MS, and needed a gynecologist that would help me with severe hot flashes that I thought I was way too old to have. I hit the jackpot with Dr. Solomon. She is extremely knowledgeable, but most importantly, she listens. Take your list of questions, and if she doesnt know the answer, she will find out. I highly recommend her to any and all women, regardless of your age.

I have been going to Dr. Solomon for many, many years now. She makes you feel so comfortable because she listens not just as a Doctor but as your friend and someone who really cares. Her Nurse Practitioner Gail is equally as nice and Ive used her as well. I highly recommend Dr. Solomon. Yes, she is a sole practitioner and yes the office is busy but worth every minute of the wait.

I find the doctor very educated and knowledgable. Her office is extremely busy and waiting past your appt time is usually the case. I also find that speaking to a person is difficult without leaving a message first which I find somewhat irritating even for something like making an appointment. Other than that if you can get past those issues she is really a fine doctor.

I had a great first experience with Dr. Tara Solomon, so when it was time of course I went back. I would suggest her to any and all my friends/family. She is wonderful, she tells you how it is and she is extremely willing to help. I absolutely love her, the ladies in her office are easy to deal with. I couldnt ask for a better doctor! Very happy with Dr. Solomon!

Doc is a HORRIBLE human being!!! I dont live in Florida, but if I did I would NEVER in a Billion years would go to a doctor that has this to say about pregnant women: "No one should ever look like Jessica Simpson," Dr. Tara Solomon, a OB/GYN in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. told Slate. "Shes an absolute porker… I cannot believe how heavy she is."

I have never, ever given a review for anyone or anything. So trust me when I say she is amazing! Knowledgeable, caring, respectful, she asks questions, listens and takes time with you. After 4 kids and many OBGYNs across numerous states....she is the best by far! I am fortunate to have been referred to her. I believe you will agree!!
