Dr. Ellen Altenburg may be a good doctor, I have yet to see anything that really sets her apart from any other doctor, but if you have any issues when breastfeeding she will be unable to help you. Her nurse Susie will tell you to use formula if you "need a break" when you havent complained about breastfeeding in the first place. She will also be rude and unsympathetic on the phone when you call to discuss an issue the office has been treating incorrectly for the last *month*. She will then not call in the prescription you need, leaving you in unbearable pain and forced to call the on call nurse over the weekend to get it done.

Not concerned with patient, more so with bonuses given. Will not treat children who havent received vaccines even though clearly states on reception window they will not refuse service to anyone. Needs to research more into the vaccines they try to force upon patients and try to make feel bad for not vaccinating. During time was a patient Ellen was extremely rough with baby, misdiagnosed cough multiple times just kept throwing prescriptions at us then refused to see us anymore if we chose to continue not vaccinating. Will never recommend

I have only one child and Dr Altenburg was her physician from 1 year old to almost 5 years old. We really love her! She is very balanced in her approach and spends a good amount of time during your visit. I think she does a great job and my daughter really loved going to the doctors office! Wish we didnt have to move since it has been tough to find a caring balanced doctor.
