BE careful what you say here - the office manager is a sensitive one and will discharge you from their practice for disagreeing with her. I never yelled at her or used foul language, but I did refuse to agree with her or let her defend herself further and I just received a notice discharging my son as a patient. Do yourself a favor - find a better pediatrician office than this. It is sad too - the doctors are very nice people but their staff has ruined their practice. This place used to be awesome but now you will wait and wait and then wait some more, even if you have appointment. There are at least 20 people in the waiting room at all times and the office staff barely acknowledges you unless theyre taking your money. I checked in at 10 am and did not leave until 1130, although they tried telling me I checked in at 1007 and out at 1118 - which is untrue. Edited to add: The office manager just called me to clarify my complaints. Instead of listening to me, she proceeded to tell me how I *should* feel about my wait times and their practices. She was super defensive and not solution-focused nor focused on MY experiences. She spend most of the conversation trying to tell me how SHE felt and how I *Should* feel. (You can see from a screenshot of their own survey that out of 69 respondents, not very many were seen within 15 minutes of their appointment time) Dr. Jain and Dr. Mitra are super nice and I really like them and their interactions with my kid, but the office staff needs some work/training in customer service.

I have never had one bad experience at this office. As a matter of fact, the doctors and staff have ALWAYS gone above and beyond to accommodate us. I can reach Dr Mitra at any hour in case of an emergency, she has called in prescriptions late at night and made sure my children always happy, healthy, have what medications they need, and they have always got us in same day even when they are swamped. Dr Mitra always acknowledges my children when she enters the room, has a small chat with them(how are you? How is daycare going? ect.) gives high fives, hugs, and even a poppop(lollipop)(my little ones favorite part). She listend to your concerns answers ALL questions calmly and politely (even if you ask way to many) she will work with you to design the type of treatment plan that works with you family. Front staff is AMAZING on occasion I have needed paperwork last minute--they pull through and get it right over to me. Ive seen them work many hours and even though lunch/late occasionally. The nurses are all so welcoming and sweet and work together well when it comes time to do shots or procedures. I truly feel they all care about what is best for my children and do what ever they can to make the children and parents comfortable. Thank You All at Port St John Pediatrics I wouldnt want my children in any other doctors or staffs care.

The worst pediatric I have ever been to. They had no respect for my sons needs. Way over crowded with overbooking people with appointments and walk ins. They told me no walk ins but yet people with appointments waited past an hr because of walk ins and poor working techniques. My son is autistic and was in an uncomfortable situation because we waited a long time and because there were to many people . I couldnt reschedule because I could only do what I needed to do for my son that day. The staff including the doctors excuse was unprofessional. I dont recommend this this to anyone we all deserve better treatment and respect. They wanna cover up and lie so people can waste time and go there. They have their own employees rating this five star knowing the did wrong. I did right by my son to ensure he got his needs met I dont need to lie of what happen because I care for my sons needs. So I was never escorted I was sent a letter after I said I would never return to such bad practice and I will continue to tell everyone the truth !!

we had dr barimo and dr hate originally. our son was having terrible congestion and fevers. both of these drs listed to our sons lungs and checked him out and sent him home. we went to parish after a 9 hour wait still we were not seen. we drove to cape hospital where they diagnosed him with pneumonia and salmonella. they said they didnt need an xray to see this. we switched to dr jaine who takes his time to explain everything. spends copious amounts of time with our son making sure he is okay. after speaking with numerous people about dr jaine we cant find a single person who isnt just pleased with him but overly joyed to be his patient. thank you dr for giving us confidence in our sons medical care. you are amazing and we truly love coming to you for our care. keep doing your job the way you are. i cannot stress that you have hundreds of fans here!

As the office manager for PSJ Pediatrics I find it important to write a response to this recent negative comment from Leslie Soto. This family had only visited our office one time; Upon her arrival she was very aggressive toward the front desk staff. We accommodated her in a very timely manner. She was very loud and screaming at the staff using profanities in front of a waiting room full of young children. This office has a very strong policy against profanities being used around young children. Even after we escorted her back to an exam room to be seen by the physician, she continued to yell profanities at the staff and physician. This family was ultimately let go from our practice. We do our best to accommodate every family, morning, noon and night, but we cannot have this kind of behavior in our office. -PSJ Pediatrics Office Manager.

My teenage daughter sees Dr. Mitra and my toddler sees Dr. Jain. I cant think of a single complaint Ive had with their care. They are both very kind and compassionate care providers and my girls feel very comfortable with them. The office staff has always been very pleasant and accommodating, despite the impatient parents that Ive seen get hateful with them about wait times. Yes, the wait time can be a downside to this practice, but I always bring things to entertain my kids to make the wait more bearable. Ive never felt rushed through an exam or made to feel like they dont have time to address any of our concerns. The physicians are wonderful and I think they are worth the wait. Their new facility is very clean and aesthetically pleasing.

I switched to PSJ pediatrics from North Brevard Childrens Center by Parrish. Today was my first time there and I was blown away by the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. They are so amazing with children and truly care for the well being of all their patients. Since I was a new patient, I had to wait about an hour before we were seen but as soon as we were called back, we were seen by the nurse and Dr. Jain immediately. Dr. Jain was absolutely amazing! He is so caring and professional! I am really kicking myself in the rear for not switching over to PSJ pediatrics sooner. I definitely recommend taking your child(ren) here! Its a beautiful place, very clean and they also have two large TVs to keep children occupied while waiting
