I started seeing Dr Jackson, who I liked, in fall of 2015. The last time I saw her was December of 2015. She ended up leaving the practice within days of my visit. Neither Dr Jackson nor the practice found it nescessary to inform her patients. I called there today to get my prescription refilled, not knowing Dr. Jackson had left. The remaining Dr in the practice refused to fill it because he has never met me. They would be happy to schedule me an appointment but they are booked for a month. Ive been on this medicine for 15 years and they just want me to stop abrubtly with no concern about my health. The nurse I spoke to was very rude and talked down to me, making it very clear that my health was not their problem. Obviously, had I known, I would have been in to see the Dr or find another in a timely manner. The nurse actually said to me, "its not our responsibility to notify Dr. Jacksons patients that she left". I want to know whose responsibility it is then? If you have a medical practice with multiple doctors then I would think all of those patients are your responsibility!

this company is a mess you are waisting your time there and your money this company is a scam, doctors come and go nurses come and go they do not tell u the truth when you are wrongly billed they give u a nr to call in texas and they never answer back you can tell from the answering system that it is a very unprofessional set up they cancel may mistake my appointment a gave them 3 weeks prior my paperwork and when i got there everything seemed to be ok and i paid my copay next day they call me telling me that they cannot take me any longer i lost my copay and waisting time and money for gas they lost my labtest telling me they will mail it but never received it when i went there today they said the doctor had just left the company they told my son to go to a liver specialist which they wanted me to refer to I worried about kickback so i got my own and than suddenly they told me he does not need to go anymore etc. etc. a horrible mess, i will contact tallahassee to sort out this mess and misinformation

Fantastic experience! I feel so lucky to have found this place! The office is beautifully decorated, unlike any drs office Ive ever been to. Its awesome that it doesnt feel like youre in a drs office. I was greeted right away by the front desk receptionist, who was very friendly and attentive. The office squeezed me in last minute, even though I was a new patient. When I got in to see Dr Nelson, which wasnt a long wait, he spent good quality time with me and asked lots of questions. He ran lots of tests to get to the bottom of my issue and never made me feel bad about my symptoms, like some Drs tend to do. He is very kind and soft spoken, while also very knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommend Dr Nelson and Family Medicine at Mount Dora!

Dr. Kim is a fantastic and very knowledable health care professional. I saw him for an exam and thorough would be an understatement! This guy really takes the time to listen and also answer any questions. I have been working and consulting with Dr.s in pharma for a long time and he is one of the good guys. Makes me happy to know there are Docs still out there who care for their patients and not just conform to the "see as many patients" as you can in an hour mentality. It will only be a matter of time until youll have to wait 3-4 months to see him/get an appointment. Im happy to call Dr. Kim my family Dr. plus this guy knows way more than most specialists Ive worked with professionally. Thanks Doc -Kyle

I had a 4:00 appointment. I had a meeting at my job that ran over so I was running late. I called and told them I was running late and I was rushing. I drove as quick as I could, and arrived at the Dr.s at 4:16. They turned me away because their policy is that if you are more than 15 minutes late, they wont see you. There was NO one in the waiting room, and ZERO cars in the parking lot!!! I wont be back! I dont understand a Dr.s office that cant be flexible with their patients. I could not walk out on my job, what was I to do? I think they care more about leaving early on a Friday instead of their patients. Not interested in a Dr that has that type of policy, Ill find one that cares!!!

I had been fighting what I thought was a cold for a week and when it wouldnt go away, I called to get an appointment with Michelle Flores. She was kind, funny, and thorough. She was quickly able to determine I had an upper respiratory infection . She knew I had a busy week ahead as well as my company Christmas party so she sent me home with a cough syrup and a Z pack. After 7 days of feeling awful, it felt great to start feeling better in 36 hours. I was able to go to work and attend my company Christmas party. The staff were also amazing, accommodating, and seemed to truly care about my well being and my recovery. I highly recommend this practice!!

My husband and I are new to the area and do not currently have a Primary Doctor. Well as luck would have it I fell and broke my wrist and needed in to see a primary doctor ASAP. We found this practice and Dr. Kim. They all where very friendly and Professional. Dr. Kim was pleasant and easygoing. His treatment was very thorough. It felt like I was right at home. I would highly recommend this practice. My family didnt have a primary Doctor before my fall but Now We Do!! Thanks so much for your genuine care.

This office dose a good job and through. But they are so in fair as far as you missing any appts. If you miss 2 visits they will drop you fron any more visits. I wouk at nite and could make 2 appts and then they told me they could not see me any longer. Wow.... what a way to understand your patient. Knowing they work all nite .and work 16 hrs.and to tired to make it in time..So unreal. Way to go Jeff. You Dr Doogie Houser want to be......

Its a shame to see negative reviews for problems the patients were at fault for. This is still a business and if you are too lazy to make or reschedule appointments, dont blame them for dropping you when you cost them money. Anyway, so far very happy with Dr. Nelson and he does a great job and is thorough. First PCP I have been happy with in a long time.

Location, facility, front office staff and the medical team at Family Medicine at Mount Dora are excellent. To the extent that one can enjoy going to a doctor, the experience at Family Medicine at Mount Dora minimizes problems and provides a comfortable atmosphere in which to receive quality medical care.

Great people and experience from receptionist/scheduler to PA Michele, to Dr Paul Kim! Very personable, knowledgeable, & Professional. They listen well and are very informative along with taking care of business promptly. Now I am really impressed and am HAPPY to have this team on my side!
