Wife of MD team is a scheming, insensitive monster who hates other doctors & wants to handle allllll specialist care herself. "Pain doctors just give you a bunch of useless procedures & then get you hooked on narcotics" is how she insulted my neurologist & refused to process the referral to the reputable pain doctor he suggested. She also wants to get rid of my psychiatrist who give me medication for PTSD & told me which medicine she hates that i am getting & how bad it is, & which medicne she wants to give me instead --GUESS WHAT IT DOESNT TREAT PANIC ATTACKS!!! She refused to give me a referral for an ENT specialist that URGENT CARE referred me to 2 times for a condition i have been suffering with for 5 weeks WHILE WAITING TO GET AN APPT AT HER OFFICE....TOOK 30 DAYS just to see her!!!! she said URGENT CARE ARENT SERIOUS DOCTORS TO CARE FOR YOU, THEY JUST PATCH YOU UP & KICK YOU OUT. as opposed to her, who gives ZERO REFERRALS, INSULTS EVERY OTHER TYPE OF DOCTOR & TRIES TO REPLACE THEM, and is JUST RUDE. she considers it part of her NEW PATIENT PAPERWORK TO CRITICIZE MY CHOICE OF INSURANCE........ i told her if she wanted to pay the premium, then it becomes her business & if she doesnt want to accept my plan, THEN DONT, BUT DONT HARASS THE PATIENTS. I ASKED HER OUTRIGHT IF SHE GOT PENALIZED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR GIVING ME REFERRALS, but she said she didnt know if she was "allowed" to discuss that with me....... so obvious she does....... her new patient paperwork includes a whole sheet about allergies & i asked if her primary practice specialized in allergy testing & she said its just one thing they do......... then she said my insurance doesnt "reimburse" (pay the doctor) for it, so rather than sending me to an allergist or filing an authorization request, she ended the topic......meaning, NO EASY MONEY FOR MY OFFICE, NO ALLERGY TESTING FOR YOU.

On 06/22/15, I have the pleasure of meeting and be a patient of Dr Amit Aggarwal and he took the time to explain to me and my wife about the results of the labs, our diseases and the treatment plan! For me he is the best Primary Care, Board Certified in Family Medicine, in Florida and he, and his staff are the best in the USA and the rest of the world! He and his staff have Excellent Customer service, are up to date in the medicine field and I give thanks to God I am being treated by this professional! I will recommend him to anyone without hesitation! On 10/27/15, Thanks to God and the Virgin Mary and Dr. Amit Aggarwal, of Lake America, Family Physicians, My Diabetes is a lot better and I lost weight! 3 months ago my glycosylated Hemoglobin was 9.8 mg/dl and my Fasting Blood sugar was 250 mg/dl with severe uncontrolled Diabetes! He put me on Lantus long acting Insulin and my glycosylated Hemoglobin dropped to 7.3 mg/dl! Which is very good since by science and statistics it is supposed to drop only 1 number in the best of scenarios! Thanks to this excellent Physician, Board Certified in Family Medicine, I am a lot better and lost weight in the process too! He took the time to show us the labs, celebrated that we were better! He is friendly and up to date in all Internal Medicine and family Medicine diseases, explains to the patient about their condition and the treatment he is going to give you! His office and staff have Excellent Customer service and are excellent people — feeling blessed with Tere Pizarro.

Every time that I visit, the staff is always courteous and helpful. When dealing with Dr. Alka Aggarwal is extremely helpful and takes the time to focus on my results, I do not always deliver on my promises (lose weight or successfully lower my blood pressure), she always takes the time to connect to help in whatever manner possible. Great Doctors, excellent staff and focused on individuals experience and not focused on moving people through a line. I recommend that you give the practice a try, I think you will be happy with the staff, their focus on people and dedication to making your life better.

I am very happy and pleased to have found this office. I am under Dr. Geffens care for a variety of health issues. He is a very compassionate doctor with excellent bedside manners. He spends a lot of time listening to my problems and takes the time to inquire about my whole being and not just the problems I come in for. I am excited to have found a primary care physician for my entire family. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lake America Family Physicians and Dr. Geffen to all my family and friends and anyone looking for a kind, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor.

Over the last month I tried to get a new patient appointment with Dr, Amit..when I call I am told they would have to call me back. After 3 tries and a month later still no phone call. I will probably look for a Doctor after the new insurance year with a list of Doctors in my area who are accepting new patients, until then I will relay on the emergency room at the hospital. I gave one star only because my post would not go through unless I gave at least one star.

I have always been able to talk to the doctor and get my problems resolved. Coming here is like dealing with trusted family. Would not consider changing doctors He is an amazing doctor who thoroughly explains any issue or problem you may have. My children also see him and are so happy with his practice. I am always referring friends and family to his office.I would truly recommend anyone to have him as their doctor.

I see Dr. Amit Aggarwal and am very pleased with the doctor, nurses and all the staff. The doctor listens attentively and he explains things thoroughly. I also like that hes not the type of doctor that just tries to throw a pill at every problem. Rather, he really seems to have your wellness in mind and looks for the best way to achieve that - which is not always medication. Im glad I found this doctors office.
