If you are looking for a good doctor in the plant city area or nearby then you should know that Dr.Gimness is the best and most caring doctor that i have ever met. I love my doctor and can actually say that he has made me stop dreading doctors appointments. Dr. Gimness works really hard to get to know and care for all of his patients.The office staff is also very good at getting you in and out. Sometimes it takes a little while to get an appointment but it is very much worth the wait. Surely with the new nurse practitioner will be available for any healthcare needs meanwhile. If you are planning to come in as a new patient and have to wait a month to see the doctor just know it IS worth the wait. Its also nice to know that any issues are very quickly resolved and given the right attention.

I HAVE BEEN WITH HIM FOR 3 YEARS. I SHOULD HAVE GOT THE HINT WHEN 1 1/2 YEARS AGO HE MISS DIAGNOSED ME FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH WHERE I ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL WITH PNEUMONIA. NOW I HAVE BEEN TWICE IN TWO WEEKS SEEING HIS NURSE PRACTITIONER SINCE SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE AVAILABLE I AM NOT GETTING ANY BETTER. I CALLED AND SAID I WANTED TO SEE HIM SINCE THE NURSE PRACTITIONER APPARENTLY HAS NO IDEA WHAT WRONG WITH ME. THE GIRL ON THE PHONE THEN SAID I CANNOT SEE HIM UNTIL JANUARY. I AM SICK I REPLIED I NEED TO SEE HIM THIS WEEK. NOT TODAY NOT TOMORROW JUST THIS WEEK. SHE SAID NOPE SORRY JANUARY IS ALL I CAN DO. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR CANT EVEN SEE HIS PATIENTS??? I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE.

This office has to be one of the worst offices that I have went to my whole life. I have been to this office like 3 times and not only are they over priced but the staff is extremely awful. The front staff never helps with anything that the patients ask for and the doctors take hours to see you. You literally have to wait at least 45 mins for the time you check in for the "MAS" to pull you back and when they do pull you back and pass by the "mas station all of them are on their phones and laughing so loud that you can hear them all the way to where the patients sit at. Never again taking my family here and would never recommend this place.

Dr. G, as we affectionately call him, has done so much for our family in the last ten years and our issues have been severe. He never gave up on us either. He is only our second PCP in 30 years and we love him dearly. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate....he has definitely seen us at our worst! My husband and I, as well as our son and grandson, drive an hour to see him because he IS worth it! Trust is important and we trust him completely. We also love his staff...they take very good care of us.

He has been my sons doctor sense birth.. Three times my son had a problem over the weekend and could not be seen by Dr gimness, went to the hospital and they misdiagnosed him.. made appointment on Monday to see him on Monday and he fixed the problem every time.

Good doctors who take time and care are sometimes hard to find. I will drive the 40 minutes to get to Dr. Gimess and Dr. Sams office. These guys are top notch and truse them both with my health, the health if my wife and 3 kids.

Very thorough, knowledgeable and empathetic. The office is always clean and his staff is very professional and friendly. I like the fact that he reviews and explains everything with great detail. Definitely a great doctor :)
