I hope Dr. Finnernan gets this corrected soon. I have been a patient at Family Practice of Wadsworth for approximately 6 years. I received treatment approximately 6 months or so ago. After treatment, an invoice was sent to my home (per the Drs office). Then several more. They informed me they attempted to contact me 7 times prior to turning it over to collections. My side of the story - didnt see the bills. Never received a phone call (asked them to confirm when it was made, whom they spoke with, and the results). They could not substantiate it. I found out after the bill went to collections and I received a letter from them. So I went to the office to pay. I was surprised that I could not pay there, nor were they even going to contact the collector on my behalf as i stood there ready to pay. So as not to waste the trip, I wanted to schedule an annual physical. I was told I couldnt as the turning over of a bill to collections severs the provider client relationship. And as you read below, they hide behind - its our policy. They (Amanda) totally doesnt get the customer experience. Even when I told her she had a thing or two to learn about customer service and she should read, The Fred Factor she asked if she needed to contact security. Wow. Contacted collections today and paid my $93 bill. I will find a new provider not because THEY dont take you back from this or communicate a way to become in good standing again, but because of my indignation for what they call customer service. I was denied service over a $15 copay I wasnt even aware I had. Obviously $15 wont make or break anyone and had I known it was overdue I wouldve paid it out of my change jar. They have claimed they tried contacting me but I never heard a thing and when I went to schedule another appointment is when I had found out they turned it over to collections. When I laughed a bit and asked if I could come in and pay it she said they wont accept it in the office and informed me they could no longer take me as a patient. Ive never in my life heard of someone being denied over something so petty, Ill gladly take my business and $15 elsewhere.

My experience at this facility has always been top notch. Some of the previous reviews are pointing at issues that are more with insurance rather than the doctors office itself. The physicians are professional and care about your needs. Be clear, be detailed, and give information about your visit and why youre there and itll help not only the staff but the doctors as well. I have never had an incident where I have been treated rudely by staff and they have always been able to answer any questions I had or been able to point me in the right direction. I plan on going here for as long as I live in Wadsworth.

My family has been treated by the doctors here at Wadsworth Family practice for 20+ years. The staff is absolutely on top of everything. they are organized, always confirm appointments, usually on time. rarely are there delays. The doctors provide excellent patient centered care. they are always thorough and seemed to be rushed. I was in the medical field for 20 years and visited hundreds of Family practices. This is clearly one of the best practices i have experienced. I just referred my best friend to bring his family here. Steve Vetter

The worst place ever. The Dr is great but the other staff need to pull there heads out of there butts. They cant ever schedule correctly. They just cancel when they want. They dont call you back when you make inquiries. They forget to process prescriptions until you call six times. Never go to them.

Had a great doctor here, until I was informed that my husband, children, and myself were no longer patients here. They claimed I had an outstanding bill that I never received a notice about. Ridiculous!

Doctors are great! The staff is horrible, rude, and God forbid you are running 5 min late for your appointment b/c they will make you leave & reschedule.
