Three months ago l was looking for a new family doctor for my husband and myself. A few people recommended Dr Martinez as a great doctor. Immediately called his office and got an appointment for three months later since it was the only thing available at the time. Well January came fast enough and my appt date came on a day on which I was under a impossible to miss schedule. For work reasons I missed the appt. Made the mistake of missing the appt and I expected to pay a fine for that. Surprisingly I showed up at their office to excuse myself and offered to pay and reschedule and to my surprise they refused to accept me as a patient. I was never asked the reasons of my absent. It could had been health or death or any other important matter. Which thank God it was not our case. But loosing work is important at least on our case. Looking back I feel glad to have been rejected. Who will want to be under the care of an insensitive Doctor whom believe that he is the only one that has a busy schedule and dont believe in looking into the facts before rejecting a patient. I understand and agree on him charging me for the visit and I would had gladly pay. But to just plainly refuse to meet us? I dont understand. Where is he showing his true meaning of caring and making a difference on osomeones health? I was disgusted by the situation. I hope he drops down his cloud soon enough and understands his role in this community.

My wife and I find Dr Alejandro Martinez to be a very personable, caring and competent physician. He takes the time to read every point in our written discussion outlines and responds in writing where appropriate. He is remarkably punctual, a courtesy we both appreciate. He has an unusual sense of humor for a physician, and often lightens the visit with a bit of small talk.
