2013- I am so impressed with my experience at Lifetime Eyecare. All of the staff was very friendly and patient with my anxieties about eyeball care. This is how Im always wishing my appointments with other doctors would go! I never felt rushed or like I was bothering anyone with a question. I appreciate how much time was put into making me feel comfortable. I have always been fearful of getting my eyes dilated, so Ive never done it, but Dr Vys caring attitude helped me get over that hurdle! They pay attention to details of customer service in all the ways Im always noticing that other healthcare professionals ignore. I will be making recommendations for others to come here too! 2015- I had such a stellar experience last time, that it would probably be difficult to live up to it. This time wasnt bad at all, things were just done in a different order and there were new ways of doing things and since I have so much eye squeamishness, I was more uncomfortable than I would have liked to be. My first appointment was my first time getting dilated and the doctor did it; I dont remember it being so bad, but this time, I was dilated early in the appointment and had blurry vision within 10 minutes that lasted for hours. It was a little scary and I was also concerned about getting the right prescription. I read online later that you might still be able to get the right prescription even with blurred vision, but I did not feel at ease about it at the appointment at all. Also, this time I was told I have a large optic nerve (risk for glaucoma) and forgot to ask if I had that at my last appointment since I dont remember hearing about that. So, probably, my overall uneasiness affected the whole quality of my appointment this time.

I am more than impressed by the staff as well as the courtesy and professionalism of Doctor Vy. He made my first visit to an eye doctor, in more than 10 years, a comfortable and educational one. Dr Vy was excellent at making sure I understood every aspect of what we were doing and what we were looking at during the entire appointment. Lewis was wonderful in setting up my appointment, verifying my insurance and really making sure that my first experience and new patient process was easy and painless. Itzel was an awesome first impression to have when walking into the office as she is friendly, courteous and very informative when doing my initial vision tests. The other young lady in the office today was equally pleasant. Excellent first visit. I will indeed be making this my home for my future vision care.

You are probably wondering why this place has so many 5-star reviews. Well I have been wearing glasses for 15yrs. My last experience was at LensCrafters in the same area. Lets just say that this optometrist and his technology made LensCrafters look like the Qwik Mart. This guy had all kind of high tech precision machines. He honed in my prescription so precise that I cannot wait for the glasses to come back. He took extreme high resolution pictures of the inside and back of my eye and showed me what to look for in the various diseases. This guy is passionate about eye sight. Its not just a job for him. We should only be so lucky to have him in Orlando. In five years he will probably be gone somewhere serving only wealthy clients. Go visit him while you can still afford him.

Dr Vy and his staff are the Best. The are so attentive to your needs from the time you open the front door, until you leave. Everyone there is knowledgeable and answers all of your concerns and questions. I have referred several people, all of whom say this is the Best Eye Doctors office in Central Florida. Dr Vy talks to you and listens. He does not rush thru the appointment like you are a number. They have a large variety of glasses and contacts at reasonable prices. I just took my mother who is 92. What a wonderful experience she had. The staff gets top marks for making her feel good about herself. She was a bit nervous at first. But that ended when we walked in the front door. My first-time experience at Lifetime Eyecare was very positive, from beginning to end. After making my appointment, I was immediately sent a confirmation email with a link to their website where I could complete all of my paperwork online ahead of time. This was much more preferable to me than having to fill out forms by hand on arrival. I wish all doctors offices operated this way! Dr. Vy and his staff were very welcoming, exceptionally friendly and professional. After my contact lens fitting, they even insisted on completing the lens rebate process for me on the spot, and I received my lenses in the mail within two days after the appointment. I will definitely be returning to Lifetime Eyecare for all of my future vision needs.

First time buying contacts and I must say the experience has been extraordinary. The staff was extremely friendly from the moment I arrived and I never felt rushed through anything. My previous eye doctor would be in and out in a few minutes. Dr. Vy on the other hand took the time to explain everything to me in detail and made sure I got the best prescription for my eyes. This was my first time buying contacts so I didnt know what to expect but they made the entire process as painless as possible. The extra 20 minutes on top of my usual commute was well worth it.

I have been going to Dr. Vy for years and I absolutely love him and all of his staff. They are so very nice and accommodating. I went in again earlier this week because I broke my glasses. They tried to fix them for me so I wouldnt have to buy a new pair but unfortunately, my glasses were broken beyond repair. Since this was an unexpected expense, Dr. Vys office really worked with me to help me find the perfect replacement frames that I loved and would be affordable for me as well. Cant wait till they come in! Thanks guys! Youre the best!

Dr. Vy and his staff are very friendly and highly efficient. I called in around 10 am to see if there were any appointments available, and I was immediately scheduled for 2 pm. His staff greeted me by name when I came in the door. Dr. Vy was very thorough and patient. He even explained my retinal pictures to me just because I was interested in learning more about them. In terms of contacts, I have been able to price match with online prices, which is great. I have had a really good experience here and would recommend it to others.

Dr. Vy and his staff have always been friendly and accomodating, with each interaction making the customer feel welcomed. Each year they seem to have something special happening; last year around this time they had a something like a "spring fashion" special with a party complete with good food and beverages, plus a drawing to win a free pair of designer sunglasses. This year their March Madness sale gives you half off all lenses and frames throughout March. Service is always professional, courteous, and timely. No complaints!
