Appointment was on time and personnel were friendly and efficient. I chose the retinal imaging over dilation. There was an additional charge for that service that was no covered by my insurance. The Clarifye exam was similar to the old style "1 or 2" exam but seemed somewhat easier and at the end, it allowed me to see what my current prescription looked like versus what my vision would be with a new prescription. I felt that was helpful. Dr. Hixenbaugh was cordial and attentive and made the experience enjoyable and informative.

Everyone that works there is very nice, took the time to explain what they were doing, answered my questions and yet it went really fast. Over the past 30 years I have had very bad experiences when it comes to eye exams and thats why I always wait two years before going but I have no problem going back next year. I will recommend everyone I know to go there. It is worth the extra money.

Great staff , always helpful. They have a machine instead of dilating your eyes ...so no blurry mall shopping after ! Ive been seeing the Doc since 1998 and have NEVER had anything but a great experience. They consistently improve their eye testing --always a new gadget. Ill go there until I move or he retires.

What a great doctor! Very calming and ALWAYS a perfect prescription for my glasses. Recommend Dr. Hixenbaugh to ALL! Oh....his staff are all great! Very helpful.
