I have a friend in there and it is unacceptable : Missed meals, when asked for 2nds on potato the aid scraped another patients plate off to give to them...Unacceptable : Nurse did not document meds given: Unacceptable : You can wait for 2 hours for a bed pan then have to sit on it for another hour or more. You can wait hours for pain meds: UNACCEPTABLE ! !! How on Gods green earth did we ever get here as a society ? ?? This is the 2nd one my friend has been in due to the lack of proper wound care at the other one. My friend had to go back to hospital for another week because of that! These people are accepting payment for services that they are poorly, poorly giving. This is a very sad state of affairs . No wonder there are so many lawsuits against this industry

Take away the employee reviews and nothing much left. Between the elopement last month and the guy dying in the sun, place is a craphole. Take a tour yourself and you will see. From the obviously clueless front office down all the way through, a majority of the staff honestly hates it there and could care less. If you take a tour and think differently, please post. Residents sleeping in the hallways in the wheelchairs - check out the dining area and see the residents central area to mingle....its a urine filled bus stop.

While no place provides the comforts and conveniences of home, the friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff offer a strong case against that claim. The building itself could be described as "vintage", but the therapy department with professionalism and foresight are reasons not to judge a book by its cover. The quality staff and great food make gracewood a great place to start the journey back home.

I have worked here for over 7 years, and I love this place! The residents are like family and so are my coworkers. We have many staff members who have worked here over 10 years and there is really a loving environment here. I can honestly say the administration team here has the best interest of the residents at heart and we will do almost anything to please. We welcome you and your loved ones!

Would not recommend to anyone. Staff is either trashy or GHETTO. They are more concerned with hiding on their phones and the other half is outside smoking cigarettes. Patient care reflects this. Hands down worst place I ever worked. I had to leave just for my own intergrity.

My sister in law seems happy. She needs to get out of her room more & go play uno or dice to socialize. And she NEEDS TO BE GENTLY BATHED AT LEAST EVERY OTHER DAY & "THAT IS NOT HAPPENING". HER BODY ODOR IS ALWAYS TERRIBLE! JUST AWFUL.

Our residents are well taken care of. Are loved & well fed. The staff DO care for the residents. You cant always believe what you read, hear on tv/news or what others say. Behind that front entrance is a family.

Stay away! Staff is extremely rude. I spoke to Director Ashley and she was by far THE RUDEST PERSON I have ever talk to in my life. This place is a waste of time! People believe me, stay away!
