***DO NOT COME HERE AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!*** The only good thing was that the information was taught. These people are extremely money hungry, trying to sell us shoes, watches, and we even had to purchase ugly ill-fitting scrubs with their logo on it ($25 and well never be able to wear these again, every other places just has you wear any navy blue scrubs). We payed a lot of money (~ $500) and you would never expect it by looking at the place. We were given 2 pairs of gloves for the two weeks span and were yelled at when we forgot to bring them, and then they wouldnt give us a new pair. They were short on linens in the lab, the class over scheduled, and there was NO heat in the building. We wasted so much time sitting and waiting around for the instructor to figure things out or take breaks. But the icing on the cake was when it came to the clinical. They never even started to schedule them until two days before they were supposed to start, then were telling us that we werent all going to be able to do them on the days that we were supposed to, as listed on their website. When I first wrote this, we were sitting in the classroom complaining to each other when were supposed to be in lab learning skills, and the instructor was in the office trying to schedule our clinicals. I do not recommend coming here at all, unless you want to pay way to much money for a less than decent experience. Update: So because they over scheduled the class and didnt have enough clinical instructors for us all to do them on Thursday/Friday they begged for people do them on a different day. I personally didnt want to because thats what we signed up for so they shouldve had them scheduled, and because I needed to be done ASAP so I could schedule my state test because I had an important deadline I had to make. But they said theyd pay for the state test (~$100) if we moved out clinical day. They assured me I would be able to schedule my test in time, and it wouldnt matter either way because our certificates from them wouldnt be ready until the next Wednesday (a whole week after our actual class ended). So I changed my clinical day. I went in on Wednesday to have them schedule my test and they said I needed to pay $15 if I wanted my test to be on May 23, the only day available before my deadline. So I said fine whatever it takes to get my test scheduled in time and I payed the $15. I called the State Test company about an hour later and they told me they had received my paperwork but they didnt have any form of payment. They told me to call Alia and have Alia call them. So I called Alia and told them they needed to call the State Test company and they said theyd take care of it. I figured theyd call them right away like they said. Yesterday I received an email saying my test was scheduled for June 9th, which is past my deadline. Alia did not give them the payment in time and I lost the last spot for the May 23rd test. Today my mom called them for me and they the incompetent women working at the front desk told my mom that they "disclosed all the information to me" and that I shouldve known I wouldnt be able to schedule my test soon enough. So at this point Im completely infuriated because I was lied to and they just lied to my mom and, "well you werent in the room, you have no clue what youre talking about." Were also filing a complaint with the BBB.

I took the weekend class, taught by Jamie. Contrary to some of the bad reviews, I found this place to be very straight-forward and business-like. I paid and they gave me what I paid for, flat out (and a little more). I found that it was like any other class, in that you get out of it what you put into it. If you thought that the instructors job was basically to take the test for you and to show up at your home to make you study, you will be disappointed. However, Jamie covered the material and added a lot of real-world experience to it, which gave the book material a lot of context, making it easier to learn. Jamie is also very people-smart, which really made sure that the experience was fair to everyone. I think this is a very smartly-run business. It is a young business, experiencing growing pains, but it has a good foundation. Right now they are sharing a building with several other businesses, so the restrooms are shared and the cleaning of them is done, often poorly, by people the building hires. Doesnt help that somebody from one of the other businesses insists on smoking in the boys room. Good news is that they are moving to another place soon. This will also be good in that, hopefully, they will have room for more beds for practicing skills. We did get to practice everything, but more beds will mean that students can practice more efficiently. The owners of the business were very straight-forward and friendly with me. I paid up front for everything, including the workbook, which helps as a review aid. Save the workbook until the last two weeks and let it help you review: you wont be sorry. Take care of business and the owners will take care of you.

I will gladly endorse the teachers at this facility, as they were simply awesome. They were 100% dedicated and passionate about teaching their students. However, the front office staff was absolutely terrible. The husband and wife who run this place are clearly ripping students off, and only care about the students money. I could easily understand if a class was overbooked by a handful of students, and adjustments were needed to be made accordingly. What pisses me off is the intentional overbooking by close to 35 extra students, (all to make extra $), all at the expense of the rest of us who signed up on time. Their website is so far from reality in terms of what their facility offers, and how clinicals are set up and scheduled, that its basically fraudulent. We did not know where/when we were doing our clinicals until the last day, at literally the very last minute. So everyone who had planned ahead according to the information provided had to scramble to make last minute changes. Despite promising via the contract that all clinicals will be held on Thursday and Friday morning of the last week, the owners had to beg and plead with students to break off long held appointments, cancel/reschedule babysitters, and other jobs, all because of their greed and laziness (i.e overbooking this course). If you can find another place to take your STNA course, do it. I have never written a review, but felt it necessary to at least give prospective students a warning, and to let them know that Alia staff do not keep their word.

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!! Went to take my STNA test and waited an entire hour and couldnt even test because they didnt have the proper equipment!! Seriously?!? You have people that are driving a long distance and paid money to take their state test and you guys didnt even think to make sure the right equipment was there for the evaluators?!? I was soo extremely heated about this entire situation!!! Not only were we (Me and 8 other students) unable to test, the owners of Ailia healthcare were not anywhere near the facility so they couldnt even come and get things fixed so that we could test!!! How are you going to have students test and then go soo far away that you are unable to come and fix situations that may or may not happen. People spend their money, call off work, find babysitters, drive a long distance just to test and Alia healthcare is nothing but a money grubbing facility! DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE! Now I, and 8 others have to call D&S and reschedule our testing dates. Not to mention, some of us have deadlines for nursing home jobs and nursing school. Im pissed !! 0 stars!!!
