I had extensive shoulder surgery that included corkscrews and anchors to repair 3 rotator cuff tears, one massive and one involving the subscapularis tendon; plus a SLAP repair, Mumford procedure, bicep tenodesis and subacromial decompression. Ive had many sports injuries requiring months of PT but nothing as severe as this. My surgeons practice offered physical therapy but they did not offer manual manipulation unless necessary. For me, manual therapy is as essential as exercises for healing damaged tissue. I interviewed every therapy center in St. Augustine and decided upon PT Solutions because of their therapy philosophy. PT Solutions Director, Dr. Igor Oruc has a brilliant understanding of anatomy and physiology. By the time of my first appointment, my right arm had been confined to a sling for 8 weeks with excruciating pain. My neck was affected, too. Igor began manipulating my neck and my shoulder slowly and with great patience over many weeks. In time, exercises were added staying within the surgeons protocol of passive movement until 4 months post-op. Ill be in therapy for 6 months with full healing at one year. I am now 4 l/2 months post-op and have almost full use of my arm. I would not be doing this well had it not been for Igors patience, determination and talent. I am forever grateful to him and all the staff at PT Solutions. They are kind, caring and endlessly positive. If you need physical therapy, make an appointment and talk to Igor.

I first came to PT Solutions for chronic headaches. I had sought treatment with several different providers over the last two years with no results. Igor was determined not to be another PT promising results without actually delivering. It was the first time I had felt relief in two years! Then, when I had an unexpected back injury, he fit me in as many times a week as he could to help me recover and was clearly personally invested in ending my discomfort, not just cycling through patients. PT Solutions has provided physical therapy that works. After being injured in a car accident, I have fought chronic back pain for almost a year. My chiropractor did an amazing job to provide the first phase of treatment to stabilize my condition. I am hoping that physical therapy will correct or at least improve my overall long term health. Igor and his staff are very knowledgeable and I am seeing improvement in my condition. I would certainly recommend PT to anyone needing progressive physical therapy.

PT Solutions is a great facility with a staff that truly cares. Igor is very knowledgeable and provides hands on care while managing all other aspects of your treatment. My husband and I were on vacation and he was diagnosed with Achilles tendonitis and received 8 treatments prior to returning home. While he still needs more therapy his stride is improving and the pain is less each day. If you need any kind of physical therapy we highly recommend Igor at PT Solutions.
