Im disappointed to report a negative experience as there are so many team members with Integrative Physical Medicine which go above and beyond. I truly saw physical improvement after a few visits however Im astounded by the lack of professionalism consistently demonstrated by Marcia with the clinic on Colonial. To the point, tonight I left without any consideration of returning - Her negative disposition and tone should not have her only disassociated from this practice but out of the medical industry altogether. She simply seems miserable as a person which unfortunately, feeds into her profession. If I notice it as a new patient, I mostly pity those who have to work frequently with her as 45 minute increments were simply enough. Personality aside with Marcia, she failed to review my chart before attempting lumbar injections which made me question treatment altogether. For someone with a delicate role in the practice, I would have liked her to have a better knowledge of my symptoms, history and not become defensive when I tell her that Im not hurting today. For the injections portion of this practice, it seems like a cattle call as the last time I was in Marcias office, she verbally was exasperated the PA forgot to bring my chart to her so she responds with "well how do I know what Im suppose to be injecting?". Today, was worse. For me, Im insured so finding a new practice is not going to be a challenge. Ive informed the Dr who referred me so hes aware of this instance. Best advice to the practice: lose Marcia. Best advice to potential patients - work with the PT (theyre great - Justin & Sarah) and youll enjoy working with the staff Shelby, Victoria, Sasha and Giovani (sp). Steer clear of the injections until someone is capable of smiling with that syringe. WTraywick

I have suffered with neck, back and knee pain for many years. I live on the East Coast and travel to Integrative Physical Medicine in Orlando on a weekly basis for PT, injections and chiropractic care. The results have been amazing I have been receiving injections from Marsha for several months in my neck, back and knees. I’m so thankful for the relief this has given me. Marsha takes time asking where I’m having pain and is so kind gentle with the injections. I look forward to my weekly visits and seeing Dr Layman for my adjustments. Victoria takes the time to explain how to use the machines and is always available to answer any questions or concerns. They have the most caring Staff I have ever experienced in any doctor’s office. I want to personally say thanks to the entire staff at the Orlando office Shelby, Gianna, Allison, Victoria, and Sasha, Kyle, Marsha, Dr Layman and the rest of the staff for always putting your patients concerns first. I have been raving about how I feel and have recently brought my in law’s over from the East Coast to now have their treatment at Integrative Physical Medicine. They doctors they were seeing in Brevard County were not giving them the results they had hoped for. My mother in law was suffering with pain in her feet and just in then the past month my mother in law is now pain free. They both are excited with the results they have felt in just the short time they have been going and are very excited to continue their 12 weeks PT at the Orlando office. The service I have received from your office has made me pain free. Please keep up the outstanding service.

I believe that a chiropractor can be helpful in alleviating back pain. I have been to chiropractors in the past and have had a good experience with most. However, I would suggest to all, that when any practice publicizes that their initial consultation is free you should ask yourself, why? Not just of this particular office, but any. They took multiple x-rays, not just of the affected area, but of all areas of the spine from the front the back, the neck, the jaw, the teeth, from every angle front, back and side. Why? If you are required to watch a video about the great benefits for your health, when a large portion of time is spent showing you models of deteriorating spines and the worst example is the one they use throughout the discussion to point out problems with your own spine, why are they doing that? When they say that you must come back for many weeks, multiple times each week and must pay in advance for any portion that your insurance will not cover, I definitely ask why. No other professional operates in this manner. I can understand requiring payment after each treatment. But what if the treatment isnt helping? What if you want to stop treatment? When the entire initial assessment is "free" and feels like a sales pitch, it probably is one. I dont pay in advance for haircuts, manicures, dental work, or engine repairs. Question everything and pay only for services rendered. If that is not acceptable, go elsewhere.

Update: Since my insurance ran out i have had more issues than anything. its almost like they dont want to speak to me, the chiropractor that was there was amazing and i valued his opinion, however now i have to see a new one that im skeptical about. every time i get sent out to "sister companies" they work with i get treated like just another number. i need some papers filled out and im pretty sure they wont do it. i need to also come in for my physical therapy however as soon as the insurance ran out they went from 3 days a week saying i needed this treatment to 1 time a month....... strange but ok, they have been helpful in the past and i love Sasha and Ninfa, but again treatment plan wasnt even in the final papers saying i had received shots or anything. but now i am trying to get my back fixed since the 2k back-brace doesnt work and the tense unit they charged 800 for is on amazon for 30.00. i just want my treatment to be over with. Since my accident I have been coming here, everyone has been great, they are understanding and on top of everything! And a bonus is the massage is good to. Ninfa is pretty entertaining.

I was rear-ended at a traffic light in October 2013 by a guy looking at his phone, who never even braked . . . just slammed into me. This resulted in multiple herniated discs in my neck and lumbar. My doctor referred me to Integrative Physical Medicine and I began treatment there the next day. When I first came to IPM, I could barely walk and had excruciating headaches. I was having trouble working and was losing income. I was in a world of hurt. Everyone at IPM were not only skilled but very caring. I had many different kinds of pain treatment, including chiropractic, medications, and cervical epidurals. They do it all; thats why theyre called "Integrative." The epidurals helped tremendously with my debilitating headaches. I think the most helpful treatment for my back has been trigger-point massage by Rashawn Redcross, who works for IPM. I had weekly massages for two years, and I swear its the only thing thats kept my pain manageable and me able to keep working. I continue to go twice a month and every massage Rashawn gives is the best massage ever! I cant say enough good things about IPM!

Do not make an appointment here if youre looking for immediate help. This office was the first on the list given by my insurance so I called them out of desperation as I was in terrible pain. They got me in right away, for which I was thankful, however all I received was a sales pitch. I was told that I would not be getting any type of treatment today, but would be seen by 4-5 different specialties who would then work to put together a plan for my care. Fantastic. What I needed right then and there, however, was some help for the extreme pain Im in. I expressed that I seem to have wasted my time and pointed out that it was now so late in the day in wouldnt be able to get in anywhere else for help. The answer? Theres a walk in clinic just down the street. I walked out. Perhaps they give great longterm care. Ill never know. If they refuse to give you more than a sales pitch when youre desperate for relief, how am I supposed to trust that the longterm care is worth anything? If you need immediate help avoid these guys at all costs and look for a real office.
