I went to Opes for their urgent care service. The receptionist, though extremely friendly, has a bit more room for improvement in her job competencies. The nurse who took my vitals was awkward. And the doctor displayed better bedside manner with the iPad he used to diagnose my symptoms, than he did with I the patient. All of which was forgivable until issues arose with the billing process. The in-network cost for the visit was significantly higher than another urgent care I had visited in the area. I requested to wait for a bill after my insurance paid their portion, but the staff was confident in the cost and insisted I pay before I leave - so I did. A few weeks later I received my Explanation of Benefits and as I suspected the amount I paid was not the in-network cost, therefore I was due a refund. I contacted Opes to initiate a refund on September 15th. Eight emails later on October 3rd, I was told by the Practice Administrator, Denise Molina, that the refund has been initiated and could take up to 30 days. Here we are 54 days since I initially inquired about the refund, yet to have a resolution. Step it up, Opes.

At first was very pleased with service and how the place looked professionally. Went in for a general annual cleaning came out with 4 filling replacements. No problem gave the front receptionist my dental insurance card prior to visit, so they stated my portion after insurance will be $161.20 for 4 filling replacements. Two months later I get a bill for $124.80 additional. When I left I asked do I owe anything else they said NO your all set. I call to find out why I was charged another $124.80. They say oh your insurance down graded your filling? Looks like someone dropped the ball. Didnt bill correctly (or up coded the claim knowingly the insurance wouldnt pay) and incorrectly quoted my co-pay. Be careful! If your doing something small like cleaning or annual follow up fine. Anything else triple check with them and insurance. At first glance everything looks modern and nice. When it comes down to the monies be prepared for a bill after you leave the place.

I am not sure how this clinic is receiving all of the positive reviews it currently has, however, this is clearly not a reflection of the level of service in place. We have been incredibly frustrated with the clinic as they try and get organized (we have NEVER even seen or met the doctor and have been going to the clinic for almost SIX months). In my most recent visit following a physical I was told that my blood work had been LOST and was not even notified despite it having been two months. Many of the staff members are kind and recognize the APPARENT ISSUES. If I could give any word of advice it would be to be a true practitioner (the doctor) and make your presence felt, because it is needed. This place in its current state is a joke, hopefully they can turn it around, but ALOT of work is needed.

I had an emergency visit to Opes Health after I stubbed my toe. I had some quick xrays which determined my toe was broken, not just dislocated. Dr. Perez and the rest of the staff had a wonderful bedside manner. I dont remember the techs name but he was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. They saw me right away, opened up the back door for me, and brought a wheelchair straight to the car to help me in and then back out to the car again. Dr. Perez manually moved my toe back into place and even called to check in with me the day after the visit and to remind me what I should and shouldnt be doing to heal my toe. The facility is very modern and beautiful and I couldnt have been happier with my visit....well, except for the broken toe;)

OPES is a great new dentist in downtown, specifically Channelside. It is part of the OPES Health complex that includes a primary care, urgent care, and optometrist etc. They are still trying to get our insurance provider, United Healthcare, for these services but the dentist is already in our network. I like this dentist because the staff and dentist are efficient, competent, friendly and nice to deal with, they are always on time, their services are excellent and they are high tech. As an example they have the ability to get crowns installed in one day because they have their own equipment. They are also honest and also don’t try to upsell you on unnecessary services like other dentists that I have personally experienced in the area.

I came to the urgent care with a foot injury and I have never experience such amazing service at an urgent care before. The nurse, doctor and front desk agent were all so kind and helpful. They even had a Podiatrist on call who was extremely nice as well. I had a pretty bad injury and they made sure that I was very comfortable in this painful situation. They did a fantastic job stitching me up. What was even more impressive was when they called me the next day to make sure that I was okay and if I needed anything. Top of the line Service. I really did feel like they cared about me and I wasnt just another random person that had an accident. Thank you for everything.

This is a wonderful new neighborhood business in the Channel District! This is by far one of the nicest and most modern medical facilities ever with state of the art equipment and an awesome staff. I was asked to check out their teeth whitening system. I must state that up until this experience I have never whitened my teeth before as I was always a bit nervous and skeptical. Let me say that this experience definitely changed my outlook on teeth whitening. It was an extremely fast process (20 minutes total) and zero pain and sensitivity. I highly recommend everyone checking this place out!

I recently got my teeth cleaned and whitened at OPĒS and I was blown away by all of the advanced technology they have. The dental chair doubled as a massager, x-rays were taken by a small handheld device which only took a few minutes, & there was an flat screen on a swivel mount playing recently released movies! My new dentist Dr. Sanchez-Diu was awesome too, shes about my age and we really hit it off. The teeth whitening was really pleasant, I just sat there and watched a movie. I recommend OPĒS to anyone looking for a state-of-the-art & luxurious healthcare experience.

Worst Primary Care visit of my life. If you book an appointment, ask to see the Dr. specifically otherwise you may receive the PA. I have no idea how the PA graduated, he didnt know half the medical words I mentioned, I was in complete and utter shock. The PA had no confidence in his speaking and medical procedure, making me feel very uncomfortable during my visit. I also want to note I had to wait for 1:15 hours in the patient waiting room until anyone knocked on the door. I dont trust any information I received from this clinic and will seek medical care elsewhere.

Highly recommended! Professional staff, knowledgeable physicians & nurse practitioners. My personal experience here was excellent, the urgency of my condition was recognized immediately and treated promptly. I felt I could openly communicate with the staff. This is the cleanest and nicest facility Ive been to. I still felt comfortable and got the vibe they really wanted to provide good honest care! After my experience with the medical staff, Im definitely going to the dental side for my next teeth cleaning!
