I just moved to Florida, and I was looking for a place to get my yearly eye examination. I read past reviews that this place was good, and I definitely agree. The women behind the receptionist desk were extremely nice and helpful. Also, the doctors doing the eye examination were fantastic. They asked questions, carried on conversation, and made me feel comfortable. I did get my eyes dilated and they forgot to give me glasses before I left. I had never had my eyes dilated before so I didnt know what to expect. I only made it across the street because I couldnt see anything. I called and they apologized for not asking if I needed glasses and the lady walked across the street so I didnt have to drive back and gave me glasses to wear. Even with that slightly terrifying experience, I still recommend them to anyone. I will be going back to them for every eye appointment from here on out!!

Dr. Barker has been our family eye doctor for 20+ years. After experiencing a trauma to my head, I lost sight in my eye. Dr. Barker took over my care as if I was nothing less than a family member. He researched and consulted after hours, on his own time. He got me in to see another specialist immediately. I, and my family believe that his commitment to my care saved my vision. Over the years, we have experienced other emergencies and they are always right on top of things. For less critical care (such as annual eye exams), my entire family uses Eye Associates of Winter Park. At one time or another, we have all seen one of the dr.s on staff. Each experience is perfect. The staff is friendly, professional and fun. We wouldnt go anywhere else. From the Gingold/Crystal family.

Let me start out by saying I was heartbroken when our insurance changed and I could no longer see the doctor I was seeing for a few years now. I was worried about going to a new doctor because off other past bad experiences. I have to say I was floored! Not only were they understanding, they actually cared! Very thorough examination, very courteous, caring and professional. The doctor was able to tell me why my eyes have changed and answer all my questions without, and this is the important bit, making me feel rushed! He was even willing to talk to me about my daughter. Big bonus point there. Thank you thank you thank you. I do not regret my insurance changing.

I have been a client of Eye Associates of Winter Park for 20 years now. Dr. Sandra Barker is a kind, caring and wonderful doctor. She has always taken time with me to be very thorough and ensure that I understand the health of my eyes and signs or symptoms to be aware of should there be changes. Now I take my son to see her as well. She was very patient with him and made him comfortable during the exam. She also took a picture with him to remember his first eye exam which proudly hangs on our fridge. Last but not least, Anna in the scheduling/billing department is so kind and sweet as pie. I never mind paying my bill when she checks me out. :)

I have been seeing Dr. Ball for about 20 years. She is very thorough and professional. She once detected a serious eye problem and immediately sent me to a retina specialist. I also have some eye conditions and she thoroughly checks my eyes using the latest technology and keeps me informed of the progression of these conditions. I like that SHE conducts the exam for glasses. I’ve always gotten my glasses there and the staff members are friendly, courteous, and professional. If I have a problem with my frames, I bring them back and they adjust them quickly and for free! I always recommend Eye Associates.

Dr. Sandra Barker is so pleasant and very thorough and patient. I had my first eye exam there about a month ago and was very pleased. State of the art equipment was used to measure the shape of my cornea to fit my contacts and then she spent a lot of time trying to determine my exact needs with contact wear. They are very accomodating with appointment times and the ancillary staff are very courteous and helpful. I was hesitant leaving my optometrist of 20 years (due to distance) but I feel I made a very good decision in choosing Eye Associates of Winter Park.

I have been under the care of the Drs. Barker since they started in practice over 30 years ago. They are pleasant, knowledgeable, use state of the art equipment, and know what to do with it. Their staff is always well-trained and "on it". All in all they run a very good store in every aspect I can think of. As a dentist my eyes are pretty important to me, just as yours are to you. I cannot imagine that any other group could do as well for you as these people. Just went for my annual a couple of days ago. They are STILL the best ever !

The staff at Eye Associates of Winter Park is outstanding. In addition Dr. Brad Giedds expertise is amazing. I have serious problems with my corneas and, like many, work at a computer all day. In addition I am a musician and had reached the point that I could no longer read music. Dr. Giedd has given this all back to me with extreme kindness and extraordinary professionalism! My daughter (4 years old) and I have both seen Dr. Gary Barker. My daughter has seen many different doctors and specialists for various medical issues and Dr. Barker has been BY FAR her favorite! He was so incredibly amazing with her. If you are looking for an eye doctor for a young child or even yourself, I couldnt think of a better person! Ive had to bring her glasses in to get adjusted a few times and their staff has also been extremely friendly and helpful.

The office staff is always pleasant and polite. I worked with Lois and Sarah to find new frames in May 2014, and since the shape I prefer is a bit outdated, they searched diligently and found good choices. I wholeheartedly recommend the Eye Associates of Winter Park.

Dr. Giedd , of the Eye Associates staff in Winter Park is very thorough and extremely knowledgeable, and couldnt be any more cheerful about it all even if he worked at it!! Very pleasant, professional experience that I enjoyed VERY much - and I came out with new contact lenses that worked better for me than the ones Id been wearing for over 8 years:-D I highly recommend this office, youll never regret it!!
