I wanted to give a shout out to Adam and the Sandy Springs – Corrective Chiropractic office. As Adam knows – I came to him on a whim,… mainly as a last resort. I told him I thought chiropractics was “hokus pokus” – but I was willing to give it a shot as there were really no other solutions on the table. As you know, I qualified for the 2016 Boston Marathon at the 2014 Chicago Marathon. In October, I started a pre-season training program. I wasn’t in the best shape, I had taken some time off from running and was mainly doing Cross Fit – and I was just getting back into some miles on the road. In my first month of pre-training – a) I started experiencing some issues again with my foot that I had previously fractured, b) I experienced one of the most frightening and serious cases of Vertigo in my life (completely bed ridden for a 24 hour period, ended up having an MRI because of too many unknowns), and c) hurt my back doing a deadlift at the gym (and after visits to a Sports Massage therapist she told me due to the swelling that I would likely need to take some time off). In December, I made the decision to reach out to Adam… and asked him if there was anything he thought he could do to help and that’s when we went to work…. I remember asking him how much time he thought I was going to have to take off – and I remember him telling me “no time” – he would work with me to get me healthy again. Since seeing Adam, my foot issues have stopped (now granted, there are days after long runs, they ache), I haven’t had another serious case of vertigo, my back is in better shape than it was before I saw him/hurt hit and I lost 0 mileage. Adam has been there waiting after a long Saturday run, when I would sometimes have rather curled up in a corner – and then felt amazing after a treatment; he’s stayed late on many Monday nights/after hours, just so I could get my run in and then see him; he offered to be on call after my 23 mile Saturday afternoon training run. I’m definitely not an elite athlete or someone trying to make it big – I do it all for myself, my health and someone that I hope my daughter can look up to and aspire to be like – but Adam has accommodated my crazy work and workout schedule in so many ways. And he’s been one of my biggest cheerleaders. He took my end goal of getting to Boston healthy – and helped me to continue to work towards it. I really appreciate everything he and Corrective Chiropractics has done for me over the last 4 months/15+ weeks of training. I’ll certainly be wearing my Corrective Chiropractic running hat on race day. I joked with Adam last week… that perhaps he could make the trek to Boston!?!?!? Emotions are running high! 3 weeks from today I’ll be in the heat of the Boston Marathon. I couldn’t have done this without so many people – but Adam has been instrumental in the last 15+ weeks. THANK YOU!

I have been going to Dr. Podraza at the Sandy Springs location for 6 months now and I have to say that it is the best medical decision that I have made for myself. I had been suffering with extreme Neck and Shoulder pain for at least 10 years of which over time caused additional pain in my lower back. So needless to say I had been trying to function daily on over-the-counter medications, physical therapy, and occasional Steroid shots from the Orthopedics when it got extreme. There was never a day that I woke up pain free. I always felt as if I needed a neck brace in order to support my head. Some really scary stuff. So one day my daughter insisted that I go to Corrective Chiropractic and the bribe was that she would pay for the consult. So I took the bait. At the time I could not turn my neck more that about 30 to 40 degrees in either direction and thought I might as well take her up on the offer because I was at my worst with my neck and did not see any relief in sight. I loved the way my assessment was handled at the Buckhead Office and the Staff is the BEST hands down. Their customer service is impeccable. I came back in to do the 1st adjustment and I automatically gained movement in my neck before I even walked out of the door. I was back to being able to turn my neck about 75 degrees. Then by my 2nd visit I had full range of motion in my neck. Unbelievable!! When I got in my car to drive home I cried. To think that I had been living in pain for so long and thought that that was how it was going to always be unless I got surgery. Now, that adjustment was not the "Cure All" but it was the alleviation of MY current state of crisis with my neck and the beginning of my journey to Spinal Wellness. Dr. Podraza is managing my journey. He is very Gentle, Caring, Knowledgeable, Supportive and Trustworthy. He takes the time to explain how the adjustments that he is going to do for that week are going to get you closer to your goals for wellness. I can sing the praises of Dr. Podraza (Sandy Springs Location), along with the whole staff in the Buckhead office because they have made and continue to make a difference in my Life.

I highly recommend Dr. Adam Podrazas chiropractic services to anyone, as I am a very pleased patient! I had never used Chiropractic services previously and was a little concerned on my first visit, but Dr. Podraza ensured I was very comfortable before making any adjustments. Dr. Podraza is very knowledgeable and professional, while also being friendly and caring. He has shown nothing but concern of my well-being as well as helping with my frozen shoulder. In addition, he uses state of the art equipment for adjustments as well as screening and assessment of current spinal condition. The first meeting was for screening only to determine where I need treatment, then the second meeting starts with Dr. Podrazas assessment and a treatment plan as well as the first adjustment. I was afflicted with Adhesive Capsulitis (aka frozen shoulder) in January 2015. If you or any one in your life has had frozen shoulder, you know how painful and debilitating it can be. During the months of March thru October, prior to seeing Dr. Podraza, I had gone through regular physical therapy treatments, specialized massage therapy and acupuncture. I guess they helped somewhat, but it got to a point where my left shoulder was just stuck at less than a 90 degree angle (when lifting forward) for months. During my research on treatments I learned that chiropractic adjustments improved frozen shoulder flexibility up to 100% of normal flexibility. Therefore, I started my search for a chiropractor and ended up meeting Dr. Podraza at a local elementary school festival. I am so very grateful and relieved that I started with his treatment plan, as after just a couple of weeks I experienced additional flexibility, which continued, and after a couple of months I now have almost full flexibility!! With my continued treatment, I have no doubt that I will obtain full flexibility! At the same time, not only am I receiving the much anticipated shoulder flexibility but also greatly improved spinal flexibility and health!
