I wish I could give minus stars. Absolutely terrible. They keep changing Drs, none agree with each other on treatment. The male Drs & female PA will listen more & try to help but youre going to get treated like a junkie. Dr V is a good Dr, I did like him & he seems to genuinely want to help but they kept sticking me with other people, constantly changing meds & Drs. A female Dr who realllly likes to treat everyone like a junkie distroyed a $55+ medication I had just gotten a couple days before from another Dr there because they dont speak to each other or want you to keep seeing same Dr. Total waste of money. I could list a lot of complaints. The female Dr kept questioning whether I really had one of my worst illnesses even though the paperwork is all right there in my records AND the Dr who handles that illness referred me. If you do go here insist on seeing the male Dr, Dr V. He & his PA are the best thing about this place but everything makes it not worth it & infuriating. I loved having to be there at 8:30am so that female Dr could see me before she starts doing procedures, I get there early, they take me back late & at 12pm Im STILL back there because she insisted on starting procedures 1st instead, as if I dont have things to do. My appointment with her should have been 10 mins!!

I went into this doctor with Two major health concerns, proven factual medical documentation of my pain disorder and Xrays of cervical spondylosis and I am a Nurse by trade. The Staff was arrogant and basically suggested that I should lose weight as a solution for my pain. Illegally prescribing a drug that has been proven by the FDA not to be used in an alternative way other than what its suggested use is (treatment of seziures). I crossed referenced that in the PDR. And through the multiple lawsuits that the drug company has been issued for NEURONTIN (Gabepentin). Warning do not take this medication. After refusing to take the medicine as a form of Pain management of which it is not a pain pill. I was told that because of my weight I would not be able to be seen at this facility. Please search for other pain management offices for you care. NEURONTIN has been known to cause sudden death and is very dangerous to anyone with other underlying issues as I have. I was also told that they refrain from writing prescriptions for PAIN MEDS because they are not Drug dealers, Then Why are you a Pain Management Office. I can go to my primary care physician for psychiatric drugs. Beware the are bias.

Our first consultation took more than three hours because the anesthesiologist had a surgery go over. We were referred here by our perinatologist and OB to help assist with migraines during pregnancy. My wife was somewhat offended by the doctor who didnt take the time to be sure she understood the plan, but just kept on explaining because I understood. The doctor also used terminology repeatedly that I didnt know the meaning of so that I had to go back and ask for an explanation of what she was talking about on several occasions. Well wait and see how the treatment plan ends up working out and Ill update review as needed. - UPDATE: The team was very helpful in our transition to different medications. There is no afterhours line for urgent needs but they worked hard to get the job done during business hours which we are most thankful for.

Over a week and a half ago, I scheduled an appointment for my wife due to a recent injury and a doctors referral to this pain clinic. I called them to confirm and get directions. She is unable to drive due to this injury. I arranged a ride for $60 for the person to take her into the appointment and help her. Upon arrival, the doctors refused to see her and the explanation was "we only treat Cancer patients" Why, oh, why was this not described over the telephone at scheduling? or when I called again to get directions or confirm the appointment? The office manager: Janet Horzath has yet to return any of my voice mails.....and will not pick of the telephone. I am pursuing legal action against this facility for false advertisement and a bogus referral from a Northside doctor.

My wife was unfairly cut off of methadone after 10 years. She filled a prescription at an unauthorized pharmacy because we had moved and not informed them first. Coming off of methadone cold turkey was a nightmare. She overdosed on sleeping pills and I had to take her to the emergency room. Finally they were able to revive her. I would much rather use profanities in this situation, but I will try to stay civil. The female doctor "Reccea" or something that sounds like that, is a rude &(*&) bi... She needs a new profession where caring for people is not part of the program. This place sucks !

I agree with all the negative comments at North Side Pain Center. The doctors are very incompetent and can injur a patient during a procedure and then blame this on a patient. This is the worst place in the entire world to go for treatment. I wish these doctors do not exist. They are unprofessional and unethical team of doctors who would not work for the patient but to protect themselves after injuring a patient with a wrong procedure.

Id give no stars if I could. Avoid this place at all costs. I have gotten so many differing instructions on how to use my pain meds and no straight answer. Every time I call with a question I get sent to voicemail and I have to leave 3 voicemails before I hear back.i ended up in the er bc the doctor did not get back to me about a legitimate concern

The staff here was extremely arrogant and rude to patients, to the point of being condescending. While in the waiting area I observed staff discussing patients eventually gossiping about them after they have gone into the back rooms to receive care. I would have reservations about coming here to receive care if you have a choice.

Alpharetta pain clinic is horrible. I had a procedure and the doctor it was scheduled with didnt show up. A different doctor performed the procedure and because he didnt tell me I needed an immediate follow up I was released without even getting another months worth of medication and had terrible withdrawals from a pain patch.

I have had long waits at the main campus, but have found Alpharetta much easier to navigate through. The receptionist in Alpharetta is the nicest young lady that I ever remember anywhere. The doctors have always been helpful and caring. I have had very good experiences at NSH Pain treatment center.

Wonderful, courteous staff. The PA Regina took time to explain exactly what was going on and what the treatment plan would be. Dr Ford followed up on Reginas plan and did a thorough assessment and review as well. Very efficient. Never felt rushed out of the office.

I arrived 5 minutes late to the office for an appointment and was in the waiting room and a nurse asked the office staff if I had arrived and I heard the nurse say I was really late. The office staff also never returns phone calls.
