Im not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to write about this experience. Upfront Ill say the staff was fairly pleasant and reasonably friendly so we had no problems there. The problems lies mainly with how this facility is run. In a sentence, it is a denture factory/sweat-shop. The first bad experience was when I tried for two weeks to get someone from Affordable Dentures on the phone to make an appointment for my 80-year old mother to have new dentures made. I left many messages with no returned call. I finally got someone on the phone and made the appointment on a day my wife had her doctors appointment 30-minutes away from Affordable Dentures in Commerce, GA. The only things I was told to prepare us for the upcoming terrible experience were we had a 9:00AM appointment and we could pick up my mothers dentures the same afternoon. Sound good so far; please read on. My mother, my wife, the dog and I all loaded up for the two-hour drive. We arrived at 08:30 AM for a 09:00 AM appointment. Still waiting in the Affordable Dentures waiting room at 10:30AM, I told my wife to depart for her 11:15 doctors appointment. My mother was finally called at 10:45 to have her impressions taken for her new dentures. At this time, they made my mother pay ($1395) for her new dentures. Read on and youll see why they make you pay upfront rather than when you actually get your dentures. After having her impressions taken, my mother was told to return again at 12:30. The problem was my mother and I had nowhere to go since my wife is still at her doctors appointment with the car. To make matters worse, they kept my mothers old dentures so now shes walking around with no teeth so we remained in the waiting room. My mother was finally called back at 1:15PM (wife returns with car and fast-food lunch at 1:20). The dentist only checked how she liked the denture teeth but they had not made the actual gum portion of the dentures. She was told to return again between 3:00 - 4:00 PM. My mother (now with her old dentures) and I eat a cold lunch around 1:45PM. Thinking we could somehow escape this torture and get away before 4:00PM if we returned early, we returned to the waiting room at 2:30PM. My mothers name was finally called at 6:00PM (thats right 6:00PM). We departed Affordable Dentures at 6:30PM for the return two-hour drive home. After all this, my mother was not pleased with her new dentures because they werent fitting well and the teeth had a lot of hard residue on the teeth. After two attempts by the dental assistant to correct these issues ,she was told to try them for a while and make an appointment for a free adjustment if needed. There were many people in the waiting room with us throughout the day waiting a vey long time to have their new dentures adjusted. Its difficult to imagine someone would knowingly subject themselves to this type of abuse. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. While Affordable Dentures is much less expensive than going to a regular dentists office, their dentures come with another kind of price. I think the experience could have come closer to being worth the days aggregation if the dentures were made well but they were not. Because of the horrible experience and the fear of a repeated experience, my mother refuses to go back. Because they dont fit well and the teeth have some sort of residue on them that wont come off, she cannot use her new dentures. I have no doubt we would have given up on the entire process sometime during the day if it were not for fact my mother had already paid earlier in the morning.

Plan for the white, larger woman, Katey, to talk down to you, treat you like you are stupid, and to speak very rudely. Shes rude on the phone to others, and the way she spoke to me was disgusting. I feel sorry for some of the other people she spoke to so nasty. She acted like you were bothering her if you spoke to her. In fact, the front office staff acts so nice and fake, but turn drastically when you question them on anything. Plan for long waits. My appointment was at 10am, at 11:30am I go back to find out that I need to come back at 2pm. I went back a little early...at 3, I asked Katey about what time she thought I would be seen. (Once before they kept saying I wasnt there and I waited for 2 hours until I questioned it. They skipped me on accident). She was hateful and made it seem like I was being impatient. At 5:30, I found out this was an oversight, again. I did not have to stay at all. I sat there from 9:45 until almost 5pm. For zero reason. They immediately turned it around on me. Seriously not a good idea to come here. Aside from the severe pain, the waiting room nonsense, and the completely unprofessional front staff...I am unhappy with the quality, the fit, and the overall look of my procedure. I have since had a second opinion and called to make my follow up appointment. The african american lady who answered the phone informed me it was rude to question the quality of the doctors work. Not what I did. I said I got a second opinion and the end result was, I need to come back. Buyer BEWARE.

Im not really happy with this company. My husband is there now waiting for his dentures to be made, even though they told him he may not be able to wear them yet. He has had trouble with his teeth since a young age and most of them were broken so he had little while teeth left. He decided bc of the pain he was in and he wanted to have nicer teeth for his children, to have them all removed and to get dentures. He waited over three weeks to allow his mouth time to heal from the extractions. The dentist didnt recommends getting dentures same day. Well when he went today to get his dentures the guy there told him he was lying and it couldnt have been more than a week since his teeth have been removed and whoever removed them butchered him. Then whoever the women was that was doing his mold was rude and getting aggravated at my husband bc she was hurting him and it seemed to piss her off. He actually had to ask for someone else to do it bc of the way she was treating him! It also seemed to piss her off that he didnt want to get another package that was over 1000 and we cant afford that right now. This is already an embarrasing process for him and to go somewhere and be treated like that is so horrible. They need to work on their customer service.

I had 24 teeth pulled with full dentures . It was a nerve racking experience to get that many teeth out . it seemed like forever going through it but then when it was over it seemed not at all. I think just being scared which is normal. The hardest thing is the teeth they put in right away your mouth is tender very tender then they put the full temporary dentures I call trainer dentures once in they feel good it acts as a band aid and hold pressure helps with bleeding / pain . They have to get fitted several times it seems they are being careless during but i feel its because we the ones getting the teeth have tender mouth as for me. I had a few dental fittings that were a bit more rough than the other, but all in all when said and done it all worked out the big thing to me is to get the correct fitting . That is super important we have for the rest of our life . me and my husband both got full dentures ( my husband Quote is Its a bit painful which is to be expected .) but all in all turned out good for us both . and patience and def go for fittings get them right so you have a great smile can chew good a nice snug fitting
