Upon reading the other reviews I see that Im not alone in my experience. The office staff is the worst. I had already decided to go to Dentistry For Children in Cumming on post rd or Maple street because of the office staff but somehow I got entangled with the horribly ride Audrey, apparently the office manager, she was rude and assuming and not apologetic at all. I do not usually give bad reviews on places because you never know what kind of day someone may be having BUT after the horrible experience and then dentistry for children making my child inactive due to the Gainesville offices bad attitude Ive decided people should be aware of how horrible they are. I had taken my daughter to dentistry for children in Cumming on post road and had half of her dental work there we were headed towards our appointment but running late because my youngest son got sick I called the cumming location and they said they couldnt work me in late but that u could maybe get in with Gainesville, I actually said no thank you but then I get a call a few minutes later from the Gainesville office and the manager is being rude to me about misses appointments....I didnt miss my appointment I was late and I did not want my daughter to go to the Gainesville location they called me and were immediately very rude. The Gainesville office is impatient and rude starting with Audrey the office manager. The office is over crowded and not clean. There is a reason you have a 1.5 star rating and the Cumming office has a higher one. Go to Cumming or a different dentist!!! Beware! Lots of dentist take Medicaid or Peachcare! Kwon dentistry, pediatric dentistry in Gainesville...lots of other places.

Horrific & Traumatic! My kids had been excited about going to the dentist beforehand. They were there for an x-ray and cleaning. The "operatory" at this facility is one large playroom with a dental chair. All the other kids run around you & watch your procedures. I waited patiently for almost four (4) hours before inquiring about my children. Due to the large volume of kids being herded like cattle through the operatory, they had forgotten to bring my kids back out! They acted like it was because theyd not received the records from another office, but they had neither told me they hadnt received the records so that I could call, nor had they contacted the other office themselves. My kids were just suddenly done after I inquired about them. Apparently my children were just going to be left sitting in the operatory until closing time? One of my children had cried in the "operatory" due to pain and then embarrassment for crying in front of all of the other children, and both cried on the way home telling of the experience. Ive had many good dental experiences, and Im upset that my children were subjected to this terrible level of care. No child should be treated this way. The quality of care is on the very, very low end of poor.

It was one of the most worst places you can take your kids!! My boys have never complained with their teeth or had any cavities beforehand when they used to see the other dentist which changed locations and became too far for me to drive which put me ending up here but after an hour and a half wait just for them to get an exam they both came out looking like they had just exited a haunted house! my oldest son had chunks of loose tooth with blood in his mouth which he was saying was hurting him and never once did they discuss with me what they were doing or ask if I wanted to come back with them. Then when we left they were saying my oldest needed 6 fillings and my youngest needed 1 but the bad thing is when we left I noticed they gave me some other childs paper work which showed he needed 6 fillings leaving me to think they get peoples charts mixed up! needless to say I called them and told them what I thought about their horrible services and ended up finding them a wonderful Dentist which in the end said that neither one of my boys had not a single cavity!! Now you tell me would you want your kids going there? I surely hope not.

My step daughter was seen here recently and had a great experience. We researched quite a few offices in the area before deciding on this one. Not the best reviews but also not many recent ones out of the 13 on here. My husband and I went in to the office to schedule in person and as busy as this office was, the front staff had no problem helping us schedule our daughter. I was VERY surprised by the amount of patients they had there and how calm it was. Our first question was if parents could go back and although they only allow one parent, we were fine with that since our previous dentist did not allow parents back. The staff was very inviting and even showed us around the office. While the paperwork seemed like a lot, I was impressed with how efficient they are with hippa and making sure my husband added me to my step daughters paperwork for future appointments. Privacy is a huge concern these days. I dont always trust reviews and like to see for myself. Im glad we chose not to listen because we now have a great dentist for our daughter and recommend this office to all of our family and friends.

****** Patient Abandonment****** I would never recommend that anyone take their children to this dentist! I had surgery scheduled this morning for my daughter ( 3 years old ) The took my daughter put her to sleep and then decide that they are not going to do the surgery. Supposedly because she was not breathing right. Then they just hand her to me as if she is some sort of animal and tell me to give her gatorade and to feed her upon arriving home. First of all if she is having difficulties breathing , dont you think that you should have observed her a little longer or at least recommend that I take her to the hospital .... In which I did have to call the hospital because I was so scared from the way she was acting ( a comic stage ) The hospital staff told me not dare let her drink or eat until she was completely conscious and to watch her closely for several hours. I am filing a complaint with the Georgia Board Of Dentistry for patient abandonment !

It was the worst experience for my lil girl that is 4 yr olds. She was complaining about a tooth ache and her right side of her cheek was swollen. So we took her there and the Asian dentist dont know her damn name, could bearly speak english and she couldnt understand when we kept telling her she had a really bad tooth ache and kept telling me nothingt was wrong but didnt have any patience with my little girl cause she was crying in pain. After all that she walked off and said nothing wrong with her. We left the next day her eye and cheek was swollen and her upper gum took her to the hospital said she had a tooth infection and had to extract her tooth in one of their emergency dentist they have on call!!!. Yall are the worst dentistry ever.
