Dr Newell and staff are phenomenal! They truly care about their patients and do not mind taking the extra time to go over any question no matter how minor it may be. This is a happy office where everyone is always pleasant. My son (Matthew) has finished his time in braces and Im extremely impressed with the follow up care that he has been given. My daughter (Andie) is currently in braces and we just love all of the people at Dr. Newells office. I think one I one of the things that really stands out from so many of doctors offices is the level of personal interest everyone has in their patients and family. Linda P is the first person you see when you enter the office and she always knows who you are and asks about family, etc. I feel like Im visiting a friend rather than a doctors office every time we go there. We run into Kathy and Lisa in the community and they are always the first to say hello and ask how everyone is. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful and I think it is the level of personal interest, expediency in returning calls and service, the level of care, and the kindness we receive that makes Newell Orthodontics rise above the rest. I highly recommend Newell Orthodontics to everyone. We have sent over 4 friends and they all ended up staying at Newells because of the level of care, courtesy, and commitment. You will see Dr. Newell, his wife and team supporting many events in and around Jefferson because they care about their community. Give them a try after you have visited all the rest. You will feel instantly at home and will be glad you stopped by.

I am a dental hygienist in the area and the smiles of my children are a top priority for me. 50% of people say a persons smile is the first thing they notice and 60% of people say they experience some sort of jaw pain. Often times people will say that "braces are just to make your smile pretty" but it is SO MUCH more than that. If teeth dont line up correctly jaw pain can occur as well as teeth chipping or fracturing which can lead to crowns or possible extraction of the tooth if the fracture is bad enough. These problems dont usually occur during youth but later on in life so orthodontic care is definitely a gift you can give your child or YOURSELF! So now that you know the facts, who should you go to? Both my children have been under Dr. Newells care for over a year now. Dr. Newell individualizes treatment to best suite the needs of each patient. The orthodontic needs of my children were totally different from each other and therefore, Dr. Newell and his team adjusted their treatment accordingly. Dr. Newell is very active in the community and supports the local schools and scouting which is big for me. I love it when local businesses give back. He has a great personality and works well with kids and adults too. I ask him lots of questions and he always takes time to explain each step to me. My kids love him and his friendly staff. Look no further...he is the BEST!

My daughter is a patient here and we are very satisfied. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Everyone is willing to answer any questions that we have. The treatment plan given at the consultation is what happens and on the same timeline. Appointments work with our busy schedules and the staff is understanding if something comes up at the last minute and reschedules are easy to make. The office is super clean and very inviting. My daughter is nervous going to the dentist so I was a little worried when we found out she needed braces but because everyone here is so nice and gentle, she is not afraid at all and actually enjoys coming. Also, appointments are quick and its convenient for me because since Kroger is right there, I can grab a few things for diner while she is getting treated. We went to a few other orthodontists and the cost here is pretty much the same as what we were quoted elsewhere, but the rewards program for the patients is better. If you find out that someone you know needs braces, its definitely worth coming here for a consult and if you get several consults from other orthodontists, I bet you will end up choosing Newell because theyre GREAT!!!!!!!!

My daughter had 2 impacted teeth above her front teeth and was in danger of losing her front teeth! We went to another Orthodontics and was told its too late and shes going to lose her front teeth. I said thats not good enough and went to Dr. Newell, he came up with a plan with her dentist and oral surgeon to get those impacted teeth down and save her front teeth!!! So far so good....they are in the process of pulling the impacted teeth down behind the front teeth, next they will move them inline with the rest of her teeth. Talk about a scary thing to go through as a 12 year old!! Dr. Newell has been with us every step of the way, both me and my daughter trust him and enjoy seeing him every visit!! I recommend him to everyone I know kids and adults. He really knows what he is doing and is the nicest guy youll ever meet!! We love everyone at Newell Orthodontics!! *hugs*

Dr. Newell and his staff are so wonderful and have given me a great experience. I traveled from Athens to come to my appointments and the first thing I can remember is Mrs Linda telling me to be careful driving to Jefferson and not to speed because police love to tag people on that road! Nevertheless, theyve taken care of me since. Every time I came in all the nurses would be so friendly and chat with me. Dr Newell always was communicating how my braces were fitting, asking me questions, and encouraging me to call or come back if i had even the slightest issue. When part of my wire came out of the bracket, I was able to come into the office (even when they were closed and not taking appointments) and Katherine fixed me right up! I hope I dont have to get braces again, but if I did- I would definitely come back to Newell

Honestly, Dr. Newell is a great person to be around and his office is a great place to be at. Dr. Newell has provided care for both of my siblings, my mother, and myself included. He is so great that we have recomend my aunt and my cousins to his office and all I hear are positive comments. Newell Orthodontics is a wholesome, clean, professional, and client friendly it has been my pleasure to come here with all of my appointments and my siblings appointments. When its all over (the dental procedure) I will miss having appointments to Dr. Newells office, I have been going to his office since he first started and to one degree or another they have become part of my life and in some ways like family. PLEASE consider stopping by if you are looking for an exceptional orthodontist, you will not regret it.

We are so happy with our experience with Dr. Newell and his staff. They are all wonderful! No matter what our visit is for, they take their time with us. I have never felt like they were rushing to get to the next patient. I am so amazed at the progress I see on my daughters teeth after each visit. Im talking next day progress! It blows me away. We have 6 more weeks in this phase and then will go on a 6 month maintenance for now. When I told her that yesterday, she was disappointed because she loves going there and said shell miss them. I recommend Dr. Newell to anyone looking to get braces.
